Let’s say the monster you are aiming for, you hatch in a x10 pack. Maybe it’s the 7th monster in the pack. The remaining 3 are a bit of a waste right?
Like if you were hatching singles and you got the hatch you were looking for on the 7th attempt, you wouldn’t hatch 3 more times, you’d stop. Saving you 3 hatched (12 gems)
Am I the only one that thinks this? Or have I missed something (other than a rare gem).
The thing is 10 singles or a pack doesn’t guarantee any legends or myths so they would be the same but a pack gives you a rare so that’s why it’s better.For example @Tanbeer hatched like 17 packs now and only got a myth but the rares from it could help him quite a bit and if he did singles that’ll neglect that possibility
For new players with little collection, pack is advantageous.
Packs are better. They offer a bonus reward. Getting waste monsters isn’t an issue. You could say anything that isn’t the monster is waste product right? Anything after the monster in a pack is just waste product towards another monster
Hatching packs is better because of the rare gems. It will give you a higher chance to eventually awaken mythics even as a F2P. For newcomers, the rare eggs are an incredibly valuable resource too so you’d really want to maximize the rare gem gains.
I don’t know why but I thinks singles are good
Singles got me geocosma,infernicor and utopia in geocosma banner when we got the 20 free gems one more don’t know it’s luck or not I grabbed them in between 40-60 gems Don’t know the exact gems I have spent
I get what people are saying about rare gems, but I feel like not purchasing more hatches than you need outweighs the benefit of a rare gem
Besides single I prefer to hatch in festival eggs singles or not only .The only thing that singles and 10x pack they don’t disappoint me in festival eggs
I have yet to see a mythic from the rare egg this side of 2019
The only thing against that I see is not getting the rare gems, if you are not interested in them, the “Singles” hatches should be convenient.

If they ever complained about AP bypass rates, sleep rates, legend hatch rates, etc they don’t understand wtf you’re talking about right now

It might or it might not, entirely subjective.
For instance I don’t have Auro which would give me the opportunity to gain more gems in events such as UC. Therefore I’m going to keep grinding rares until I get it.
No, I completely agree. When you pump the numbers of it, doing singles now works out better than doing packs unless you know in advance you’re going to do many packs (e.g. you plan to awaken the mythic or you want to hatch multiple featured legendaries).
It has been this way for a while but since they increased the chance on featured to 15x we’re more likely to hatch one in fewer packs so if your plan is to “hatch eggs until you get one then stop” you’re better off doing singles really.
I think 10-packs deserve a little more bonus than they currently do, to encourage people to do them and to invest more into a particular egg banner rather than 1-2 packs. Here’s my suggestion:
every 5th, 15th, etc. = 5 rare gems
every 10th, 20th, etc. = 5 rare gems + 1 legendary potion
This basically gives up to double the number of rare gems you get but only if you’re spending 200+ gems on an egg.

Don’t know where you got this FALSE info… Auto Protect has a 60% chance to activate. 60% is more than 50% so it should ALWAYS activate and if it doesn’t it’s a scam. Do your research.
I’d say that it depends on what the situation is. If you are a newer player and/or are missing monsters you want in the rare egg pool, then it is usually a good idea to stick with packs. It’s also better to open packs when you are planning on spending a lot of gems on a banner because you want multiple monsters.
It’s a better idea to open singles when you are planning to stop hatching once you get a monster you want, and if you don’t have a ton of stuff in the rare egg that you want.
