Not a waste of slot at all, I’m sure many others will agree.
Knockback spam is very dangerous, especially with autopoisoners.

Usually i got galv + robin and chronox with blitz in 5.
Im hardly to counter that one
We would need to sacrifice 4 super epics for one legendary chronox… I think we should just wait to see.
I understand what you guys are saying in regards to the faststrike being really powerful. It is usually indeed a game of whose chronox can faststrike the other’s chronox.
If anything, the moves shouldn’t be nerfed, the speed should and would be a good idea to be nerfed. Maybe 55 or as long as it goes after a protector.
Protectors dont matter as its bypassed by stun pulse + Timestrike All. That typically gets mixed results when only one thing is 600+ TU and rest are <100. But it still usually results in most of their FL dying and screwing up their strat.
On the other hand, am I the only one that just noticed the tags for this thread lol
I definitely think that the unable to use it at the beginning of the battle idea is the best course of action. What Chronozar is doing right now in the meta, more than anything, is just unfair. It’s an Immediate, guaranteed KO, with the hapless enemy never getting a chance to even twitch. To those of you who are saying that 100 seconds wait time is excessive, think about it. At the start of every battle, at least maybe 40 seconds pass by immediately before the first mon moves. And even if, let’s assume it’s a Gaiawolf or Rexkong, that move involved killing or removing someone’s mon and thus letting Chrono in, Chrono still has his enterance wait time of maybe about 70 seconds, and by then it will have been more than 100, and he’s good to go. Even if my assumptions are a little off and such a scenario would result in less than 100 seconds having passed, well, the scenario does require very extreme and specific conditions, and I think we can safely say that it won’t happen on a regular basis is the meta.
Meant to change it to 50s have passed since Chrono’s first turn.
So I think the fast strike is fine, because everyone has chronox - it’s not a monster that allows an unbreakable strategy. It does mean there’s a luck element as to who’s chronox goes first, but it means that typically there aren’t any unbreakable front lines.
What I do think is broken however is Deathgazer at number 5. I can’t think of a counter (that is a good frontline) to be zib +9, leo, terrordragon, poison revenge, with death gazer at 5.
I just don’t think that the whole pvp match should come down to luck, as it stands chronozar isn’t an unbreakable front line but he guarantees 2 or 3 kills very early on. Imagine flipping a coin before a match and the loser just straight up loses 3 monsters. Just because both sides have equal chance does not make it fun.
Also you are right about deathgazer but let’s try and keep it on topic please
From my experience Chrono often dies after 2 AoE not having even a chance to cast a skill. If Faststrike will have a 50 sec cd Chrono need to have at least HG for some survivability.
How often exactly do people lead off with that?
Yeah chronox so soft now but, come on guys its still unevolved one.
When it ultra one, brace ur self

I still need two more starters to evolve =(
My fault that I did not farm them from the begining
Chrono should be the most beast legendary in it’s eventual form, if it had bloodcrave/thirst/fury then yes it would be a bit OP (fingers crossed the legend evo has it). I’m actually happy this monster has been introduced as it has shaken up starting line up tactics across the board. Good work devs.
It’s shaken it up in a bad way. You don’t want $-gated OP mons in game, but it’s worse to have readily available OP mons in the game. It ruins the aspect of strategy.
Just so you guys know cryogolem is a protector that is faster than chrono…
Anz and i had a fight, the hole thing was defined by chronox, the one that was first won the match, thats why we decide to have a match with no chronox in FL
He does need a nerf now
chronox is good but there are counter plays to him such as a protector whos faster then him or the monkey with throw kills him right away he doesnt need a nerf
fast monsters with zealous attack kill him before he gets a turn
We didnt even know his legend stats
Four things:
Running Kong frontline mean’s no summon entrance, thus you are only using 15 monsters.
Only Kong can kill him with zealous attack, and it isn’t guaranteed. It normally does 2.8k dmg, while chrono has 2.7k hp
Kong is stunnable by Galvbane, who is normally+9, while Kong is not.
Cryo golem is useless aside from defending, as he is easily one shot to HG, stunnable, has no purify, stealth or any other form of support.
