Double Backbite looks good but who will sacrifice 10% of team cost for that.
The moveset is useful but the cost is too high. Should be 15 cost max. Speed is also low.
is it tho? this thing is considered a super epic and it has almost 8k HP base now HP boost it and its gonna have 10k HP goodluck killing that
we do also have monsters like giehr so entring as a 70 speed ish monster is not bad
Double backbite is a risky move unless youâre sure tokens are in the meta. This monster costs the equivalent of 2 SE so selecting this monster and backbiting two allies equals losing 25% of your team comp.
It will also lose a third to half of its HP when using Double Piercing Blow, and on Shadow monsters the damage might be so high that It loses half of its HP. The killing moves have very high TU. Finally the speed is so low that youâll have plenty of time to kill it.

also for refrence double backbite or double sendback is very strong as it lets you combo into stuff an opponent is not ready for very fast and this dont have the negative effect of a zephy feks who kills the seconds of anything enterting
I was thinking that a combo with Zephyramus will be nasty. I finally got a chance to try Zeph in IC and had so much fun with the SE that Iâm considering awakening Zeph. Itâs also got so many targets that it feels great to use. No wonder people complained about it for PvP, I stayed out of that conversation since I couldnât weigh in.

i dont think zephy is a pve mythic but he is still workabe in pvp if your intrested
The damage with 3 SE on the field is huge. It would be great for Showdown Tower etc.
GUYS HELLO?? DOUBLE PIERCING BLOW ON FIRST TURN WITH NO ELEMENTAL DISADVANTAGE WITH THE TANKIEST STATS ON THIS GAME?? This is the most broken thing in the game for SEs. This is literally a tier above mythics⌠20 cost is nothing
Edit: Infernicorn, which was one of the best legendaries (and still can be useful) until recently, gets max value out of his double piercing blow with 7156 with SS activated. This guy has 8205 attack so it should deal slighty better damage which all infernicorn needed to be usable today again + double bloodthirst which he has access to two ways to charge it without needing link.
If you feel like running a 17 cost mythic but feel like that monster is underwhelming, then just swap with this guy and remove a useless rockoid that keeps making you lose the game.

I read the deer wrong thatâs why. This one Iâm not reading it wrong so if the piercing blow damage is good, he will definitely be good. The HP increase will be relevant 100%.
My take: With all the âmade for you SE teamsâ the cost wonât be an issue for some players.
If the damage is good, this thing will be a weapon in the right hands and average to mediocre team builders. Everyone will have it +9 and boosted it will be hard to kill.
A Mortilys or Gier could be really effective, as well as it being a solid answer to token spam teams.

People are going to use it to setup nightnaghale/leira , tengoku or any roaring entrances instead of going easy with those endgame freaking entrances they are helping them by adding such monsters
I want to make sure weâre all on the same page with the numbers.
Firstly, the stats shown in the screenshot at the start of this thread is of a buffed enemy Sharkrex (~1.15x). The normal stats will be roughly 6700HP and 7200 atk/def.
The damage from double piercing blow will be 4000 to each target, meaning it wonât one-shot mythics or anything with HP boost unless itâs shadow.
The recoil damage is 40%, so hitting two enemies for the full 4000 will be 8000 * 0.4 = 3200 recoil. Thatâs just under 50% of its HP (Exu you were correct on this).
Ultimately, this monster really needs building around to be worth it. Shoved into a team it will cost too much, die to piercing and not even get kills properly. After it attacks itâs left on much lower HP and is out of play for a long time.
I hope some people make it work in PvP, but it looks like a weaker Adamithia to me. Double backbite being raw unfortunately rules out any combo with enlist monsters. Maybe some other token creation can work.
For PvE I think this will be very cool. Again itâs similar to Adamithia. Extremely tanky and you can put in the effort to accelerate it, give it turns or set up a kill then itâs a cool sweeper. Zephyramus seems like a fun combo. I look forward to playing with it.

This monster will most likely be used to setup bastia, doomgro, GF rosa and seal the game
