Good day guys! Quick question, do retribution skills activate directly if the monster that has it is next in line (reinforcement)? I mean, about to enter after an ally is killed? I wonder if it only activates if the monster is already on the battlefield while an ally dies or will still be activated directly as it enters the battlefield as a reinforcement after an ally dies.
If it’s next in line and two monsters die at once, then it will come with retribution charged. As multiple monsters die, it counts as being on the battlefield after the first and checking for any teammates dying (for the purpose of this move).
In a similar way, fast forward entrance and tidal entrance will not affect any monsters which enter the battlefield at the same time but were behind them in the team order. The passives affect what’s currently on the battlefield when it’s the next one entering. So let’s say it’s 2nd to come in, but all 4 of your monsters die at once. Then you’ll get the new set of four, but the entrance will only affect the 1st of those because the others were entering afterwards.
It’s important to remember this stuff when you see these monsters next in line. Against fast forward entrance, killing multiple enemies at a time is a good thing. Against the others it’s risky to kill multiple because you’re activating their retribution or giving a monster an instant turn if it’s tidal entrance.
