Combat situation

combat situation:

Momo in the enemy reinforcements, in my reinforcements Tengoku, I kill the enemy Carmilla, Carmilla dies and her revenge is activated and she kills a monster on my team, what happens? what is the order?

1-stun enemies?

2- I don’t stun and momo takes a turn?

And what would happen if there was a stun absorber in the enemy reinforcements?

Logic tells me that,
1- Carmilla dies, Momo enters

2-My monster dies, Tengoku enters so there would be no stun and Momo would take a turn

and there is the possibility that it is random that sometimes momo enters before and other times aftertengoku (this is the most fun option)

I’m sure @Killerdog knows about this

Momo comes in and takes the stun

I often face this situation from the other side. I have Momo next in line and the opponent has stunning entrance next. They have a death revenge so I want to kill it and have my Momo enter and absorb the stun. However, it does not work this way. Instead I kill the “Carmilla” and the stunning entrance happens before my Momo has entered.

I think the way it generally works is when a monster dies the next one enters and then all triggered abilities happen. Once they finish, any new monsters enter and it checks for new effects.

An interesting interaction is Brynhildr at the back of a team using Ragnarok on a death revenge monster when there is toxic entrance next in the enemy team. Brynhildr sacrifices herself for the move and re-enters. Her healing entrance happens first, then the death revenge triggers and can hit the new Brynhildr down to hold ground with the toxic entrance meaning she’s poisoned and will die. So despite her not even existing when the DR monster was attacked and having a heal on entry she can be hurt by it and die in a scenario like this.

I mean, according to you, death revenge is the last thing that happens, that means that in my example, I would kill Carmilla, the enemy Momo would enter, Carmilla’s revenge would be activated, I would kill my monster, Tengoku would enter and Momo would take a turn.

Yes exactly. In your situation the final result is Momo will enter and absorb the stun, getting a turn

here the revenges have been applied before the entries @Killerdog

Yeah interestingly it didn’t count Sakuralisk’s stun counter for Tenguko’s entrance

maybe @Dev_VKC can explain to us

Entries have always come before revenges trigger for some reason

For example if you have a shielded monster and you killed a Payback revenge, you think the shield will take the hit. But if the enemy has lava entrance next, lava entrance comes in and takes the shield off and then the payback kills your mon.
