Restricting duplicates would be a rather simple fix, yes. However, considering the fact that the infinite dungeon gradually gets harder, it seems that it might be necessary to increase the team size constantly. However, if the infinite dungeon’s concept is altered, perhaps the team size should be limited. For example, there is a waypoint every 5 floors. You are allowed 20 level 99 monsters. Each floor should have approximately 5 enemies that you are required to face. So there’s a total of 25 enemies that you face before you can go home and rest. Each enemy is about 5 arkadion at level 99. That’s 20 versus 125. Strategy must be used, considering the fact that duplicates aren’t allowed…Now, it’s possible that people will still use Frillzeon+Lavagant+Magmawyrm or something…but it’s an improvement. But there are fixes. For example, make the monsters get higher in rank as opposed to the current system of increasing floors. By the time players get a couple hundred floors in, they won’t be able to use army flame methods at all due to the Cryowyrms, Kamiwyrms, and Destructors that are there to demolish.
This will be exceedingly difficult, so I will explain a bit further. Items should be introduced in the chests in the infinite dungeon. Potions and the likes of it. That would add an entirely new aspect to the game, which would result in the infinite dungeon being much more fun. Also, it will fix all of the problems that have been addressed in this thread. Finally, it’s possible to be able to either A) Purchase super items with gold and others with silver. This results in people having another thing to do with silver. Also, the gold would be a source of revenue…or B ) Create exclusive and powerful items to be bought via IAP, preventing any issues with timers that already exist.
To conclude, this will increase profits, should increase the amount of players and how long they play, and solve issues that many of us agree to be a major problem that may prevent this game from reaching its full potential.
I couldn’t have worded it better, my friend (and your english is fine don’t worry)
But the update will fix egg timing, so this will effect OM in either 2 ways:
a] Egg timers won’t complain because they won’t bother racing each Saturday to get the new ark because they’ll come out after the season ends anyway (that’s what I’m doing), thus continuing not having any impact on competition.
b] Egg timers will use all their egg only arks (eg. frillzeons) to compete against the rest of pool A players, thus making it harder for casual player to be in the 1% to finish first.
"B ) Create exclusive and powerful items to be bought via IAP, preventing any issues with timers that already exist."
So by this you would mean like an egg that only holds arkadians of a certain star or higher being bought directly with money and the higher star count: 7,8,9,ect… will cost more but not be available for gold or a ocarina that gives decent stat boosts but also heals a certain percentage per step/room you travel also only available through direct buying or stuff similar to these?
I think we should be allowed duplicates in the OM at least and this is why: There are monsters that are in my team that are slowing me down and really should be replaced. The problem is what should I replace them with? I can’t replace them with better ones until I win an OM monster and I can’t win an OM with crappy monsters slowing my team down. I don’t like the idea of egg timing and I’m lousy at it anyway. That being said a whole team of Frillzeons or some other monster shouldn’t be allowed
