I see a lot of people on here complaining about how much money they spend on the game with no reward. I actually think this is a great feature of the game. I think in-game purchases should generally be based on luck. I don’t like games where the richest players are instantly the best players because of how much they can spend. I have a really good team in my opinion, and I have spent like $2 dollars on the game.
The real issue however is two-fold. 1.) searching for monsters in the wild is pointless. This is the big one. If you’re going to make the game with the feature where rolling for really good monsters is all based on luck, then you need to make sure that people can find great monsters in game. However, there are only a few epics that are catchable, no super epics or legendaries. This is such an obvious and terrible error I can’t see how it wasn’t changed. Even making the monsters available but super hard to find or impossible to catch wold have been better, at least people could have had a chance then. This ties into the second idea really, 2.) you can’t have the game dependent on super epics and legendaries. A game like this needs to be winnable with a team of all regular monsters. If you’re going to make it so the super epics and legendaries are only obtainable very rarely with luck, then you need to make the game beatable with the monsters you can find, and this simply isn’t the case.
I know these ideas have all been thrown around on here, but I wanted to express the idea that the randomness of the spins isn’t the problem with the game, but the way the rest of the game around this feature is designed. This is honestly a game that no one should spend money on, and that you simply need to hope you get lucky on. And if not you honestly just need to walk away and save yourself time and cash.
