So yesterday I spent £21.99 and I did 10 spins. Got brontoblue 3 times, frostkit and snorkling and another 5 epics.
Just spent another £21.99. Just got golding, razorfin, embersaur and stratowyrm, which I had from previous rolls (gems from missions) frostkit again and a few more rares.
So out of 20 spins and 700 monsters which are not obtainable other than by eggs, to get 7 duplicates…
Hearthstone doesn’t scam as much as this and I’ve spend £100s. Not gonna go down the spending lane this time. If we was guaranteed a legendary every 20 spins or so, then maybe. But not as it currently stands.
Personally I’m not inclined to spend anything at all on this game and chalk the dollar that I did spend up to a total waste. The type of system where almost everything meaningfully farmed is locked behind either paywall or a stupid amount of time isn’t going to generate a healthy community, it’s either going to push you away or cause you to compete with those that are willing to spend much much more.
Give me the ability to work towards monsters and I’d have a much greater incentive to spend anything else on this game, because as it stands all I see are unhappy people.
yesterday i bought gems for 3 eggs, got 3 duplicates. when I used a itunes gift card before that I got 10 eggs, and one duplicate. and before I bought any eggs I got 2. so I feel your pain.
I’ve spent $30 but I did get one legendary. I was kind of pissed about all the epics and super epics I got but after I looked at the skillset I was pleased. There’s a lot of very useful epic monsters so don’t feel like you’ve wasted your money. I evo’ed an epic and it’s one of the best monsters in my lineup at the moment.
I have 1 super epic from beating the entire game now, the rest all epics. My legendary transfer, cryowyrm helps a lot through this low chance and bad luck combo.
