Question for the developers,

I’m not sure if you guys can talk about this, and if not just say so and I won’t bother you again.

But out of curiosity, why did you decite to charge a dollar for the game?

I mean, while I might be wrong, I’d say an overwhelming majority of your income should come from gem purchases, so why now make the game free and open the most possible amount of people to that?

The only guess I could come up with is that maybe those that already spent something on the game might be more invested from the very beginning? I don’t know, that’s my best guess.

My guess is if you buy a game vs a free one, your more likely to keep playing it.
Free games might have a lot of people donwload them and try it out, but not too many keep playing.
But, then again there was that time were it was free for ios which is when i started playing it.
I liked it on ios so got it on android.

So your guess is the same as mine.

hmm. maybe to keep people interested or increase the value. that being said, I have bought it on both iOS and android so I really don’t care. anyway game is dead as of now. all events require grinding and no pvp in a month. and the update that was supposed to be released in mid-july… well we are in the last week of July now and still nothing

Hackers. If you have a free game, the the barrier is literally 0 to come in and ruin the game.

With the $1 cost then at least the devs make money off the people they kick.

Good point, I did not think of that. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like the devs are willing to answer so guessing is all we can do. One could come and say they are not willing to share though.

The game ain’t dead as it is still playable also the update last year and This year seem to fall on roughly the same days so it was always going to land late July rather then mid July

Good Lord, people. Listen to me, the game dies on Febtober 32nd! Is it Febtober 32 yet? No? Then the game ain’t dead.

Quit trying to get rid of people by trying to get them to quit the game. Nothings wrong with a bit of friendly competition. And why are you saying the game is dead, pve has far more players than pvp anyways. i.e., i miss one day on pve and i start at rank 2500 do the same at pvp and after the first win im already rank 700 or so. big difference if you ask me.

Also, if you say the game is dead why do you keep requesting for all your monsters to get buff?

I’m just going to say this: if the game is going to die, it’s because the players didn’t want it to live. Everything you say that is related to that is going to end up a self-fulfilling prophecy.

There are 3 options here:

  1. You stop talking about how the game is dead. If you don’t like it, then you can quit.
  2. If you’re actively trying to undermine the game, then you can have a ban.
  3. You can actually try and find ways to bring new freshness to the game.

What you’re doing right now is totally counterproductive.

Isn’t the game supposed to die some time after the release of Evertale?

Nope that is untrue it was a fear but the dev team is a lot bigger now and we have two different teams working on neo and evertale

The devs also took the time to recode Pvp meaning they plan to keep it around

It’s not the devs I’m afraid of, but the players. I’m positive most of the player will at least try Evertale, and depending on how much time the game requires, they might have to choose between the 2. Plus Evertale’s new.

We can face that hurdle when we come to it for now just enjoy neo

I, uh meant it as something that is often brought up in group chats. also in respect to PvP i was saying that cause thre hasnt been one in about a month.

They did say they re code pvp and have it for the next update

Why is the $1 such a big deal? I mean look at the gem prices and suddenly that $1 means nothing

it isnt. SaS said it was out of curiosity.
