PvP second half

this question came to my mind:

naturally the higher my pvp rank, the tougher my opponents get.

so what if i waited until second half before playing matches so that i start at the low ranks.

theoretically, i should be facing noobs and winning more matches, thus giving me a high higher rating than if i were to start second half at a high rank like amethyst for instance.

is this the case or are your opponents during second half period picked based on your current rating?

Starting at rank 120 you will only encounter high-ranking players or those who, according to the game, “are matchable”, it does not matter if you start only in the second half
