PvP Conclusions - Rebalance Suggestions for Developers

Your logic is basically "meh the game is good enough. Don’t bother improving it because it’s just a game and who cares? You either win or you lose"

You said that you thought that pvp stats needed a change. I said that I disagree and I think that pvp stats scaling doesn’t need a change because I like it the way it is and I think that changing it that way would make it less fun. I am contributing to the discussion here.

There you go again personally attacking me and my opinion because you disagree. Why should we change legend scaling? I think that if we change the scaling then it would make fights take way to long. Not everyone has 30 mins to spend on a pvp match.

If I’m stating the obvious, then do you see why your argument is messed up? By argument I mean the method of delivering your point. Not the point you are trying to make.

This game just not rewarding for long run at this state.
Just need lucky in 4 month you can crush others and go to top 100 especially in pvp
An old player i believe easily crushed by this terror combo.

the game is in desperate need of balancing.

its like who pulls off the combo first wins and their is no counter to it.

A nice idea to pvp would be limit the number of legendaries or have special rules such that no broken combo is allowed in pvp that way no nerf has to be done. in either case something has to be done

I disagree, I oftentimes lose my frontline and then win with my midgame.

their is a diffrence losing only frontline then losing 10 monsters to a combo

when that is nerfed ppl will go to banedragon and nightrider

nightrider will wipe everyone when you get his give turn combos desperate all.

and banedragon does nearly the same but wiping out less then nightrider

The thing is that both of those have counters. Seriously, hit nightrider to half health and their entire frontline is wasted.

I have been swept by -3 banedragons before. They are not hard to kill.

Zibgazer doesn’t have almost any counters.

Thanks :wink: and yeah… I agree this PvP has been fairly boring for me, I could make several mistakes and still win 10-0 sometimes.

I agree it is OP and something needs to be done, but I will also say there are a lot of people who spend a lot of money to get select monsters because they will be OP. I agree that there should not be an auto win monster but if you guys continually nerf every top monster then I for one won’t be spending money and I’m sure many will follow. Imagine spending hundreds of dollars to get something and then A week later it is completely changed to something else much worse than what you deemed worthy of spending money on. Just something to keep in mind going forward. I spent over $300 dollars to get deathglazer and ziberius. I’m sure after this nerf they will be completely different monsters that I’m not sure if I would have spent money on. How are you guys going to justify selling one thing and then making it completely different with no compensation for loss of value to the customer? Just figured I’d float this out there because I am already getting hesitant about spending anymore money on monsters since if I think they are that good they’ll probably get nerfed…

*** I want as fair a playing field as possible and I don’t want this game to become a pay to win only which would happen with auto win combos, but as time goes on and more and more monsters get added - ^^^the issue above is going to become more apparent. I just wanna make it clear I’m not complaining about nerfs but the bigger picture.

Something else than rebalancing, would it be possible to show the name of your opponent again after the match? For example instead of victory, it could say: ‘you won from fredator’. When your in an intense fight, you just forget the name that was in the beginning.

Another thing, could you leave the run button all the time? If the opponent is clearly winning, but you don’t even get a turn for long time, you can’t surrender. I think this eventually leads to people disconnecting. I’m not sure, but I guess you don’t get points if opponent disconnects?

Why not have a ban list system.
Before a fight you get to chose which ban list you want. You nor your opponent can’t use monsters from that list.

That way whoever wants to use a *perfect* team and play against such a team can do so.

Similar to yugioh dueling.

Valid point. They gotta spend more time on testing new monsters before dropping em in the game. But it can’t be any random tester, has to be someone that is capable of composing strategies like the one I used this PvP and that’s gonna be a very difficult vacancy to fill.
