So to get a reward upgrade you have to give paid gems? Xd and f2p? They count like ■■■■? It’s really sad, the game is going in a direction that may well cause its undoing

Here we go. They clearly will offer 1 tier for everyone and a 2nd one for paid gems. 20 paid gems a month is also nothing. Let’s see what are the rewards first. F2P should stop crying about not having as much as people who support the game by spending on gems. Just look at any other game that is on the appstore. “Battle passes” with different tiers of rewards are completely normal for games now. I am glad they are moving into that too.

I agree with this, in fact I proposed something like this a long time ago if I remember correctly. I’m glad to see they implemented it.
As others have said, battle passes are common and a good way to do it in games.
You can also view it like I described above: it’s very similar to having a monthly gem sale bonus giving 2x gems or ingredients packs (aka what we have already). The difference is they also have to play (and do well enough in PvP) to get the bonus, so it encourages people to play with the rest of us in PvP meanwhile those people are actually earning the rewards rather than simply spend money and get them… i.e. it’s even less P2W in the purest sense than simple gem deals.

I think everyone starts at the same tier, like as competitive game usually after the season end, that why they are not yet in tier they should be at then faced you.

i am disappointed pvp rewards have be significantly declined including rare gema and legendary potions as which are the most worthy resource that cannot be replaced by more any gems or ingredients. in the last few days, i heard Dev said we will get significantly more rewards and i looked forward to pvp starting, however, the result saddened me.
