I’m an old time player but pretty new to the forum - so not sure whether this has been asked… I’m also posting this as a suggestion to the developer. Reading through the forum, I’m surprised how many people run into bad luck in term of not getting Legendary - and frankly, that makes me want to spend less in the future because the developer clearly said there is no guarantee as it is a “gambling” process. And perhaps many people are in the boat as me - not willing to spend the money to gamble.
So here’s a suggestion: why not let players pay more for a guarantee Super-epic and Legendary? It helps leveling the playing field (for those who are willing to pay), and it encourages people (like me) to spend because it is less risky. If the developer is uncomfortable with this idea at first, perhaps they can run an experimental trial with limited time here to see how us the players react. But first, let’s figure out the “price”!
So - questions to you all:
What’s the highest number of gems you are willing to pay for a guarantee random Legendary (equal chance for all Legendary, including repeating the ones you already have)?
What’s the highest number of gems you are willing to pay for a guarantee random Super Epic (equal chance, and repeat allow)?
What’s the highest number of gems you will pay if the roulette removed all Epics? So you’ll get just Super-Epic (higher chance) or Legendary (lower chance).
If you don’t mind - please also share how many Legendary you already have.
50 gems a legendary seems fair since we have a chance of duplicates or a guarantee random legendary if you buy one of the 2 highest packs
The 130 or 74 dollar one and then whatever you roll after that is normal to the egg wheel
A lot more players would be spending more and would balance game play a bit more
I strongly disagree. 50 gems is about £23 or half a current generation console game… For 1 legendary you may or may not use! Max I think it should be is £2.
People have spent that much in this game with no reward so a guarntee for lots of legends would be very good
So your saying the devs shouldn’t change anything or make everything free fat chance the best we can hope for is some sort of guarantee system for legendaries in place either by gem pack bonus or after a certain amount of rolls
Look it like this people will gamble away more then 600 on this game so why not have some sort of guarantee to some legendaries for that much
Plus this game is the cheapest p2p game by far it just gets more expensive when you hit a certain point and only need very few to have all the Neos
I don’t expect them to change anything, they make their money on the exploitation of players, and that won’t change unless this awful freemium model with in-app purchases is properly regulated (which they certainly should be!)
I’m just saying what I think is fair. Paying around £45 for everything in the game is fair as it is comparable to games on other platforms. So around £1.50-2 per legendary is what I think the market price should be.
Nothing against you tidus I just think we need to think logically about it and the main reason thedevs don’t change it is probably to many people will complain so they keep it the same
Keep everything the same, just place all non-duplicate legendaries including previous festivals on the wheel. Once all available released monsters are collected then we can start getting our “bottles”. This would free up time to play other events involving super epics we don’t have.
The system is fair and there will be more incentive to buy.
I’d pay £20 to have full access to all the content, including all the monsters.
That’s the price I think it’s fair based on current game prices. Can’t justify spending the same or more money than I would for games like GTA V, Last of Us, Bloodborne, etc, which cost several million dollars to make.
This is a Pokemon rip off that exploits the urge that some people have in collecting virtual tokens that reflects in no way their actual abilities or skills as players.
It is a fun game and all, but the p2w system ruins the experience when it comes to developing strategies.
Give everyone the same weapons and let them battle. Now, it doesn’t matter how much strategy I put into my game, if I face another player with half a brain and a team of 12 legends I will get crushed.
Plus I already paid for a game that was advertised as you being able to catch 900+ monsters and it wasn’t the case.
Judging by their ratings on app store I would say that some people are finally realising that this horrible model has to stop.
Btw, anyone who thinks £600 is nothing feel free to give me some money.
Well it depends on how the game is structured I can’t complain about online games they are very p2 win orinated but if the game was issued as a normal catch them game no online stuff 20 dollars would be resonanble
But as a online game it can’t only cost 20
And as I said before some players have heaps of cash to burn and 600 is nothing for them but lots for us there was this battleship game and some of the players would spend ridiculous amounts and have multiple systems just so they could win
(Lusolas spends 60 gems a online event) and coc players drop 10-20 grand on these games
I still think it’s massively overpriced even if you compare it to online subscription games. I don’t play it but things like World of Warcraft are a lot cheaper per month (I think) for a huge amount of content. At least in that case you know your monthly sub contributes towards a quality game and quality future content. A lot of these pay to play apps just pull the plug after a certain amount of time.
Spending thousands is crazy. Apparently a lot of business strategies for this type of game focus on player ‘whales’ - the ones who will spend thousands. I guess it works!
The fact they pull the plug is the worse and it’s a but worrying they might do the same again Neo monsters is known for moving games every year I think
