I think the raw change makes sense because the point with those monsters is that they can aim their attacks but can’t use those skills behind protection. They are supposed to be vulnerable.
Do u get paid by devs? Stop mate ![]()
No, just expressing my opinion. People just always get mad and overreact when their favourite combos don’t work anymore.
What blows my mind about half this community is how upset people get when other’s express their opinion ![]()
Yeah. If I make the mistake of liking anything in the update, then I must be paid by devs ![]()
For the record, I’m not. The only time I received gems from Devs was when I got second place in a community tournament, and that was like 4 gems ![]()
I got 8 lol ![]()
He doesn’t. That would be @Killerdog
You should tell Duck, Unown, coltraz or exu. they are specialized for that
You have Mistle and Ne, are you asking how he kills on the first turn? You turn your life with the SS, and desperate attack is cursing and penetrates everything, it is a sure kill
Am I one of the few that think this mechanic change just ensured charybdia just dies to glaci much easier now?
The raw nerf makes complete sense, the only thing i would done in the devs place if something soo impactful would change without notice is a little bit of a real compensation maybe a neo ticket of that sort

Yes, that’s ONE kill.
It’s one kill and it’s also a gross misuse of a monster.
For starters… One is incredibly lucky to have Mistle survive to get a turn to begin with. Not only is it weak to all the protector targeting moves that Plume is NOT weak to while making your teammates susceptible to True Hit and Assassinate, but it also has weakness to Chrono moves. Terrible.
It’s also a gross misuse of cost. Using the SS with Mistle then Chomping to get one kill (hopefully the other team doesn’t have Plume lol?) If Mistle then gets killed right after this, then isn’t that just a 16-17 cost thrown down the toilet? For maybe one kill??
The way some of you talk about playing Plume sounds like your talking about Nightrider (whatever his name is with Lifeflip and Desperate All). These are not the same creatures, nor should they be played the same way.
Mistle should never be compared to Plume, they are nowhere even near the same league and likely never will be.
This was a pretty hot topic to read through! Monsters are often given RAW so they cannot be hidden behind a protector, with the upside that they also counter protectors. It’s good for designs like Charybdia or Padriorca that are fast and very awkward to kill / deal with if an attack directed at them is blocked. Plumesilisk was always a bit of a risky design and since they buffed the babies it became seriously good by itself. As we get more raw monsters, there are more opportunities for horrible combos to emerge.
So, all things considered, I’m very glad they closed off this outlier in their design of raw monsters. Plumesilisk is still plenty strong as a protector without the usual weaknesses. It doesn’t limit team building much, there are so many good monsters that don’t get their moves blocked.
I always feel like any nerf whatsoever results in a large portion of the community thinking a monster is completely dead.
Actually almost every giy using a protector in front line has something against padri , (spectrefox, or azraeal , or draguluss ss , and lately charybdia bind ) and tuant was the only thing allowing le to protect him from those (doesn’t work always since its only 50% ) so they bypass ans kill him ,and now i think AP spam will be even stronger and more common ,and the whales will be the one benefiting because they have unicera and prixis and nikki , and people with less large collection will be the one suffering as always
And water is wet. People with smaller collections will in any situation have less options. How could you ever fix that?
would you like to take a look at useage list?
In past every monster that has been nerfed has gotten outside the usage list. Maeve, g.f sunflower, leira etc…
