Deeragon is general use as a protector. It’s nothing special until it’s awakened, but it will be quite useful.
Celestrion is general use for that shocking entrance and sendback (to get a second entrance). It’s great for setting other monsters up or simply giving your team time to do things.
Astrogolem can work as a general sweeper but is best used at the back of a team that is already creating rockoids or other tokens so it can do the fast loading.
Nightrider is not very good in general use… this is the one of yours that probably needs the most building around. Desperate all is the main move and if you can combine that with lots of give turn it can be very effective. Setting up the desperate move can be a little awkward.
Imagine it getting one shot by twig
worst mythic ever
What tier will torazou (samurai tiger) be in?
S+ or S
I don’t know about S, but I can easily see it being in A, maybe even A+
Dont underestimate it ignore shields and holding ground and can remove dead weight and setup combos and has no killer weakness
The only thing about him is the passive suck.
Perhaps if I’m lucky enough to pull it, I’ll test it and give a more accurate rating.
Most likely A tier. The passives are very minor and he’s got two useless moves (hit all, in the zone). He’s stunnable and the sweeping is mediocre speed (130TU a time) plus you don’t get much choice about what you can hit because you can only target shielded monsters or ones which have kills. There’s no doubt that piercing sweeping is great, but we have much better options for that. A tier is still good, but he’s definitely not up there among the best monsters.
Agree
He is a B Tier imo
When I first saw him my gut was B/B+ tier. When I was about to write a reply to Tago above, I was going to write B+/A tier. However, I looked at the tier list and I think he has potential to be stronger than the B+ tier monsters… so I wrote A tier above. Writing out the downsides in the post I started to think maybe it is more like B+ tier.
We’ll have to see him in PvP to know for sure. Basically he’s got a couple of potentially powerful moves but many conditions and drawbacks. It might turn out he just doesn’t work well enough and is something like B tier. Some people may prove he can work though. If he had stun immunity or something like that he’d definitely be way better.
Someone wrote on Line “does this mean Satomi is replaced?” straight after was saw Torazou. Comparing the two it becomes super obvious what Torazou is lacking compared to an S+ monster… a blood move, an “unconditional” move (secret destroyer), proper defence (HG + instant shield) and stun immunity. All he adds is a quick cannibalise and a “blood move” that he will almost never get to use.
Yeah we discussed that upon release i will wait until a try it in PvP to create a buff thread if it’s needed
Oh I am talking about real blood move not the in to the zone thing
Not everything needs to be amazing, but I do think it makes more sense with the design for defence mode to change into hardened carapace. Just that would be great.
One step further would be to change ultrawave into “night and day” which is light+dark bane in one skill (big damage to both holy and shadow), 100TU. That would be on theme with Kattmmander. The lower attack stat and no attack boost (unlike Kattmmander) would mean the skill doesn’t really one-shot things except the squishiest things. It will just do good damage to them both and give a less conditional move.
And make Slayerbreak 100 TU too
If they do that no other buffs needed on the monster at all I reckon, or at most do the passive change to hardened carapace. Slayerbreak is super powerful.
I would say this mon is better at the way it is now no need for some buffs but do changes to other monsters to make a much balanced meta
I thought “In the Zone” deals more damage after each kill
Stealthbreak has the same TU as Stealthbane why should be diffrent with Slayerbane and in top of that Dual Slayerbane is just 100 TU so making Slayerbreak 100 TU is nothing Carzy and i stand my ground in making In the Zone usable as any other Blood Move just with a miserable damage max to 1.5 K or 2 K with 4 kills that will make it much more viable in PvP without being OP (because i think it was design for PvP) because if you tell me a 30 TU 2K damage move after 4 kills or maybe 3 is OP Novadrake needs a deep review as any other 50 TU Sweeper
