Yay mojinator luck is still going strong! Five legends for three packs this festival three of them were leogeist but I’m ok with that.
So I’m guessing this new mythic will have a tier of her own?
I mean Slayerbane All on a mythic’s defense, Potent Sleep and an entrance that sleep locks by herself. This is as pushed as pushing goes.
Nope, it won’t even be S+. Slayerbane all damage kind of sucks and the setup for her entrance passive is quite awkward and will probably be too unreliable for PvP. I reckon in the long run there will either be a setup everyone goes to for it (e.g. sleep immune before or Centaureon next in line) or people will run it early-game as a very tanky potent sleep monster.
If it becomes a common end-game there are plenty of things people can use to counter it. Various strong monsters have insomnia / sleep immunity, poison on your own team does it and then there’s Centaureon as well as other high speed purify monsters that can easily counter it.
With bastia on the field im wondering this chick do nothing on the game
Personally i think its a S++++
I wouldnt care much about slayerbane all tbh she is not a sweeper more of a control monster.
And you can expect to see bastia after her in line so when she comes in her sleep goes then bastia for extra control, so no monster can come in and ruin the sleep lock
I dont know why you trying to classify her as a sweeper
Ehm the Zor guy uses cani and am sorry to say he uses it far better than all the three of you
I never did say sweeper. I corrected someone that slayerbane all is actually bad damage then said the potent sleep is great on Lemon and maybe a good early-game option. You probably misread me saying “sleeper”?
I think in general Lemon is one of those monsters that looks OP on paper but in practice it’s just strong. The key will be to build around her so your team is rarely disadvantaged by her entrance and you use her to start up a sleep lock. She’ll be incredible for making a comeback when someone is sweeping through your team and will probably be enough to shift the meta so people have counters to sleep in their end-game.
Dracarys is the best Canni user.
Hey guys is there a solid/meta PVE team that can snowball through super challenge events, biweekly challenges etc…? Fyi I have raven, hellfox, rexo, cyberblade)
We have to build one from our own collection, so we all end up with something different. There are many viable strategies in PvE so no matter what you pick up you can eventually make a team that does most general stuff for you.
Here are a couple of recent teams I’ve used in PvE that obliterate most line-ups…
^ This one is general purpose that can comfortably do most SCB, can get 100 win streak in Showdown Tower, do biweekly first try and Mythic Colosseum. It’s got heavy stun protection + raw sweeping in the first half with enough flexibility it can kill through most AI controlled teams. The second half is the best stuff you can put with Aurodragon: Revenarchion, Tenebris and Wraithcaptain. That group is unbelievably good in PvE, especially when combined.
^ This was a fun concept team I built for PvP that actually works better in PvE. It annihilates most general battles. However, I don’t think it could, say, reach 100 win streak in ST because OoO is sometimes countered by teams. Crescendo when set up properly is very powerful and in PvE the AI doesn’t shut it down as well as a human opponent does. Adding Bundleblazer to the enemy team ruins them because it’s a 4v3 for most of the battle and they add 9 Bronzeshells into their team. When I’ve got crescendo sweeping their team at 3 enemies every ~45TU these Bronzeshells have wrecked any strategy that existed. The end of the team is more optimised for PvP but it’s got great sweeping throughout that it generally works well. When I want to breeze through a SCB this is a fun team for me to play with.
Hory shet, thanks Killerdog… Well obtaining these legends are a challenge itself. I guess I’ll go for the rly gud bois like tenebris & aurodragon.
Lionhart would go well with Auro too
Yea he does… Also, I saw Killerdog’s enrage Novadrake team on youtube… Looks gud too
I might have missed it, but which tier would Staticsphere be? The annoying cloner that when killed does an aoe blast. It’s a limited legendary that is in one of the special eggs and I was debating trying to roll for it as I’ve always hated going against it in PVE battles. I’m curious if it would hold its weight against buffed mons in PVE
It’s not good for pve and I don’t think it’s that good for pvp either
Staticsphere is B in PvE and B+ in PvP. It struggles in PvE because, like you say, the damage isn’t as impressive against buffed enemies and the good defence doesn’t help the clones survive because the buffed enemies hit hard. The AI generally struggles against cloners but Staticsphere doesn’t have anything to help the clones survive except for that high defence, which isn’t enough.
In PvP the damage is impressively high and the clones can sometimes be awkward to get rid of, especially because there are times when the opponent really wants to remove the new clone and has the ability to do so but it will kill a monster on their team and they want a turn with that monster first. What I’ve found is Staticsphere needs to be placed reasonably close to the front of a team so the opponent has to deal with your other monsters (they haven’t taken control of the match yet) and if they ignore Staticsphere for too long they’ll be facing 2-3 of them and they’re taunted. By using Static you basically lower the power of your team for the sake of having something that might pay off big if your opponent can’t deal with it or make the mistake of ignoring it for too long.
People react in different ways to it so sometimes it pays off big… but against the really good players it’s not super reliable. Also, there are various counters like any repulse/knockback or they might get the timing of the explosion to not affect them very much.
Overall, it’s a pretty good PvP monster that can work very well in the right teams but you need to have lots of powerful other stuff for it to really work well (so there are other distractions) and the counters to it hold it back from ever being amazing. I think B+ is a very fair position for it, in that mid-range of monsters.
I recently found quite a bit of success with it in a link storm team for the special rule (10+ monsters of the same element). Here’s somewhere it can work beautifully because if I ever face a match where Leogeist can get going then ELEM accelerate will turn Leogeist into a crazy sweeper. It also can be a FL protector when necessary without making my team weak to protector counters AND I have the combo of taunt + inspire from Leogeist which is a very reliable way of then getting to clone (very few monsters can one-shot Staticsphere in the front line because it has no weaknesses, high defence and they won’t have blood moves charged yet). I think this is probably the ideal scenario for Staticsphere…
hi guys im still relatively new and i have a question can someone give me a update om the abyssoldiers i got 2 of them but id like to know how good they are in comparrison to the other abyssoldiers the ones i got are shock and boison
and should i use them together or apart?
A.S shock is pretty bad if you want to use it u need to use the other one .A.S Boison is not that bad it has auto poison but is bad in pve
Some Abyssoldiers are amazing, the rest are generally not worth using. The two you have are some of the bad ones. However, Boison is good in any poison team that doesn’t have holy monsters nearby. It can’t poison enemies itself, but it is quite tanky and can do a strong poison eater at only 100TU (normally 160TU). Poison in general is weak for PvE (whenever enemies are buffed) but is good in PvP.
aight thanks a lot guys i just got my first mythic evolved (deeragon)
and the 3 legendary,s i currently got.( Nightrider,Celestrion and Astrogolem) can i just use them in general or do they need specific teamcomps to shine?
