I have seen so many players complaining about their ‘lack of luck’ when spinning a mission/gold egg, that I wonder for how long they will continue playing the game since it’s not rewarding them.
The egg timing needs to go away, but that won’t solve the problem. If anything it will only cause even more players to get annoyed.
Another common complaint is that a lot o people are always using the same arks in PVP. So I came up with an idea and would like to hear what people would think about it.
First of all, the first action should be release all the arks into the wild. So the timers advantage will go away, everyone will be able to catch all the arks released so far and the game will be brought to a balance again.
Now you still face the problem that timers (who aren’t just a few) still own a massive amount of gold that keeps increasing while the problem is not fixed. The solution? Just make the gold obsolete. That way, again, you bring the game to a balance.
From this point everyone is in the same situation, no more advantages and the game could start to get interesting again.
So what about the gold eggs?
They should be a special reward introduced every season, with a new story update, and would be given for defeating a boss (you can’t buy them anymore).
Inside this egg you can have, lets say, 20 new monsters. Now you only have something like 5 bosses each season.
So what happens is that no player would be able to have all those 20 monsters in that season, making the PVP a lot more interesting.
One important point would be to remove the arks you already have from the egg, so you won’t get any duplicates from the precious gold egg.
When the season is finished all the 20 monsters would be released into the wild or as a PVP reward for a reasonable amount of diamonds (not like 960000), so the players who started late will have the chance to get the same monsters.
ANd a new season starts with the same pattern.
So, no more gold then? How are the devs supposed to make money?
Well, I do believe most players won’t mind paying 0.99 for a season update (make it well over a million players).
OM shoud also be paid, but not weekly, that would be very costy. I suggest you buy a ticket for half the duration (5 weeks worth).
What if you started on the last week? Well, don’t worry your ticket is valid for 5 weeks no matter the order you use them.
Special events like tournaments, ‘Beat the Developers’ and things like that could also be introduced for the same 0.99.
That way every single player who wants to spend money to get the monsters quickly will be rewarded.
Hey, but I already paid 0.99 for the app, I don’t want to keep spending money on it.
Well, developers need to make money and this is a game that requires constant work, so they do need to have a regular income from the game.
That system would ensure that every player who plays regularly spends $3 per month.
That is not a lot in my opinion and since you will be rewarded no matter what, there is really no point in complaining about.
Ok, but what about the OM? They are quite silly and require no strategy. If everyone will be able to claim the reward for beating it, it should be harder.
Read Tiberius’ suggestion regarding OM. That should be a solution for the problem.
Well, that’s more or less what I came up with. Would like to hear from other players what they think about it and criticism is always welcome.
