It has a few counters now ā¦I think like , tourazou( if it gets a turn while it still doesnāt have any kills before a killer skyā¦) , any vengeance mons(legend or higher) , knockback mons , stun mons, seal mons , melusine , prixis.
( All have same conditions as getting a turn before him though ) And forgot to mention lacri with her delink⦠thatās a direct counterā¦(many donāt have though)
Itās been buffed multiple times. It moved up in response to the latest game update.
Which monster are you talking about?
Itās an annoying monster to rank because there are two different positions for it. If you can think of a better way to display it then let me know, but Iām not going to remove it entirely. What Iāve opted for is ranking it for F2P and in the change log I said what the P2W position is. I chose this especially because I donāt want to encourage people to get it then they are later upset to find out itās only as good as the tier list says if you spend m0ney.
It never went down. On release I put it as A tier then in December 2024 I moved it up to S-. All this stuff is outlined in the change log, including the reasons why.
The short answer for why itās not higher is it falls into the category of various legendaries which are very strong in lower level PvP but donāt match up to stronger teams. If my assessment is off then do let me know, but Iāve never seen top players consider it and whenever Iāve met it I havenāt had trouble facing it. I see it in the kind of teams that also run things like Lionheart and Wraithhost.
I mean lately I got this weird encounters on PVP that skyherra Doesnt tank damage with their passive like it usually does. Same with G.Dās that seems not tanking well even fighting other super epic and counterstrike doesnt do big damage like before even thereās no news of nerfing these monsters.
Itās a trash move. I donāt like it at all . Canāt tell about sky as I donāt have him but found it well counterred by my mons. Doesnāt do much damage to the opponent team.
Ahhh. Jack-oā-scorp.
Its moveset is a bit different. Poison generally isnāt a good archetype for PvE and Jack-oā-scorp falls into that category of not really being a design thatās what you want. High defence is nice but the damage is lacking even with fighting spirit. Itās more of a monster that you intend to sacrifice a creature with to get one of the kills⦠which isnāt a strategy particularly fitting for PvE.
Geisthorn can just get a void one-shot every turn and has camouflage. The high TU isnāt great but itās also got potential with solo double poison eater as long as the enemy buff level isnāt too high. Auto-poison can be useful in PvE when itās on a monster that has more to offer, so I think overall itās quite good but not a top legendary by any means (e.g. Oakthulhu is still a tier higher).
You should update the icon list, please. I was looking for some monster icons and couldnāt find them. I usually farm icons in BQ, but I prefer to see if I like them first. I saw your guide, but I didnāt find some of them.
Iām finally back to reviewing monsters, catching up on everything from the last 2.5 years! Theyāre going to be long but if you want to hear some takes on all these monsters then I hope you enjoy sticking it on in the background.

Helioseer is such a weak legendary that I literally had to read his skillset during the video, because you do not even need to know what he does. You are basically never going to see him in any serious PvP bracket.
Risu is underplayed right now, but with more weird entrance mythics like Jingwei being released, I can definitely see her showing up in high combo teams. Sendbacks plus entrance effects can create some really toxic loops that are very hard to escape once they start rolling.
As for Selkette, who really needs to spend 2000 gems on her when you can just keep using Asmodia, Scorp, and Gazer? She does not belong in most frontlines unless you are fine with a 70% win rate at best, because she has way too many common counters now.
I played Shi Na for a very long time and I still almost never faced anyone using her at a high level. That is honestly sad, she feels like another Candy type mythic. Cool idea, fun to use, but massively underrepresented and not really respected in the current meta.
