šŸ† Neo Monsters tier list (see first post) šŸ†

Firstly, I appreciate you watching the video

I explain Helioseer pretty clearly in the video that it’s all about doing the sleep move then sweeping. I think you shouldn’t be downplaying it so hyperbolically. I’ve got it in B tier for a reason, but when it lines up it is genuinely very good. Ironically I say that people not knowing its moveset is one of the things that helps it out, so your attitude is exactly what it will punish

Doesn’t change the fact that it will never see serious use. Having both poison and sleep weaknesses is already a massive problem, and on top of that the monster is just weak overall.

Top level PvP right now is way too optimized to waste team slots on mediocre picks. If something does not bring immediate threat, strong utility, or a very specific high value combo, it simply does not belong in serious teams.

For PvE, my ā€œstandardā€ PvE team contains Whitara, Selene, ALYCE, and Mechangelion… And generally speaking, I find that ALYCE racks up the lowest kill count of the bunch almost every time. It’s true that ALYCE is almost unkillable in PvE, but she is also very slow compared to other S+ myths, and she only has one piercing move.

I was so thrilled to get ALYCE at first but she’s just so slow. She seemed crazy OP when she was released but the design is more balanced than you might think. She’s a reliable survivor, absolutely… But she is slow to get kills, so is therefore often outshined by others myths in my roster. And since her only ā€œsupportā€ to speak of is her stun on entrance (which depends on where she rebirths into my team and isn’t something I can actually plan ahead for), and perhaps her ability to clean house against a poison team (assuming they lack any piercing skills). But, if her kill count is low then, she isn’t actually bringing much to the table.

Anyway, based on personal frequent usage, I would put forth a suggestion to bump ALYCE down to S. Which seems crazy given the skills they gave her, but without intentionally building in team-acceleration or charge-synergy mons, I find her overall performance to be very-good-but-not-amazing.

How bout next time you rack up a lot of bombs with Alice thanks to revive mechanics.

Got ever three alyces using revive and get 3 unbreakable shield ones for 2000s . Followed by 2 voraxion.

Pair her with Auto-Poison when she enters and she gets an instant piercing revenge killing attack instantly. Add a reviver right after her and she can spam her entrance + kills easily. It’s also about teambuilding and what she enables.

Hi Killerdog, I hope you’re doing well. I am writing to you because I need your help to recover a banned account, if that is even possible. And you’ll have to explain it to me so I don’t confuse you because I really don’t know how it’s supposed to work.

@Killerdog (if you free) can you reply your ā€œTier list change logā€ before Trixie banner end? I really need your advisory. Also update Sanguithor tier, I don’t think he’s still F tier

The new entries are written now. I have a bunch of other changes planned, which I will do soon. As you say, Sanguithor has been buffed since release

Between last week and this week, I’ve made four updates to the tier list and got all the legendary and mythic lists fully up to date. Please leave any feedback you have about where things are now positioned and feel free to take a look in the tier list log if you’re interested to see what’s been changed

@Killerdog thanks for the great work, neat as always!

im a new player and was just checking a new monster i got named Barricazor and it really surprised me how he is F tier the worst tier?? i havent fully evolved it nor tried it in battle yet but i did read its skills and it looked to me like he is one of the best protectors in game for a 5 stars.

with one skill Protect Focus u activate the protection skill and on top of that you convert all its atk to defence while he already has 4000 base defence how is that f tier? then you can just spam Accelerate Team till he dies.
i get it theres alot better protectors than him but noway he is the worst at protecting with such stats and skills right?

@Killerdog can you explain to me why Barricazor is f tier? im a new player and might failed to see something important here .

Speed matters. He has to live long enough to even activate Protect focus. Can’t do that if this is the speed you’re moving. He is also outclassed by Halodrei just because of time freeze and even then, it’s not going to win you games. The tier list is based on how well it does its for what role its supposed to play. As protector, it does the bare minimum which is rough for 10 cost. You’re quite literally better off using Leoronix for the same role.

i only used 1 protector since i started playing this game lol now after i checked few others i see your point you are right he is kinda ā– ā– ā–

While the speed is nearly comparable to other SE protectors.Protect focus without hold ground just means it takes 2 hits to take out (which is already the case for other SE with hold ground). Other protectors provide more value by absorbing stun or by having auto-protect. Lastly protectors aren’t good as game progress, why spend cost for a meatshield when you can spend that cost for getting 1 more monster which can kill opponents?

Sorry for the late response. Other people already gave great replies.

Adding to what they said… when it enters the battlefield it does nothing until it gets a turn, then uses a 160TU move which does basically nothing other than force the enemy team to attack it. So that’s 200s+ on the battlefield where all it’s achieved is becoming a wall. After that point it can either 250TU knockback (a situational move rarely worth the time investment) or accelerate team (a great one-off move). In reality it’s usually dead by that point but I’m just laying it all out.

The whole time it offers no damage potential. The only thing it can offer is becoming a wall.

The best comparison to make is any auto-protect monster. There are plenty of those. They protect from the moment they enter then can use their turns to do more proactive things. Something like Shieldragon can accelerate team, fully outclassing Barricazor. Gearcroc is one that can knockback. They all tend to play far better in practice.

You also have the protector stun absorbers which are similar speed and with a similar protect move they have to use. Their hold ground is very similar to shield entrance too. However, they have purify which is much more useful than knockback and more realistic to use without foregoing ever using the protect move and once protecting their stun absorbing is very useful. Accelerate team is where Barricazor stands out but there are simply better places you can get this effect and it’s only situationally good (when your team is proactive and will stay alive for a while).

The other big thing to consider is what people have mentioned… high defence just isn’t really that good. It’s nice, but not going to actually make this monster into some super tank that sticks around forever. In reality it means it tanks one extra hit. So you’ve got a shield, then two extra hits to take it down. Sounds good in a vacuum but when you consider all the above you should realise the lack of flexibility is a problem and there are plenty of other monsters which outclass what it does.

My favourite monster with a moveset like this is Blockadus. It does a lot of what Barricazor does but at half the cost. The HP is too low to reap the benefit but with HP boost it suddenly tanks in a similar manner. When something is that efficient it becomes worthwhile, but for 10 cost you need more. Many of the special rocks play the same role of ā€œgetting in the wayā€ at efficient cost, as soon as they enter the battlefield and they offer something more. Something like Triploid gets in the way of at least 4 attacks for 7 cost and can fuel backstab synergies.

In PvP having a monster that will get in the way of attacks rather than sit there being dead weight means it isn’t as bad as a handful of other SEs, so it’s in E tier rather than F tier there (for now at least). In PvE such a basic protector isn’t where you want to be besides maybe in very early game content where the high defence might make it tank a bunch of attacks to let your very small collections of damage dealers get more of a chance to get kills.

I guess you will might want to take rhinedtagon from a rank to s+ rank while taking bastia and charybdia down to s- rank .

Majorie from A rank to S- rank would be better and gabriel down to B rank . She’s kinda not okay though. Torazou(being a legendary) does her job better with taking almost the same tu to charge 7tu sweeping when bonuses to +9 . Adding Vivienne to S rank and moving sanguithor to S rank. How come is agent M so low , she should be atleast A rank.
