🏆 Neo Monsters tier list (see first post) 🏆

Because they overbuffed her for no reason at all.

Yup, thanks. I haven’t given my thoughts on it anywhere yet but I’m actually pretty annoyed what they’ve done with Kasumi. She’s a bit ridiculous now.

This guy is a S or an S- now perfect support monster and deadly combo with albino and leria, its incredible that hes sitting on E tier

Basically you play this guy in FL and spam 70+ speed monsters they pretty much enter almost instantly, miss old pandora entering at 20 seconds this guy can help you do that, albino entering with 20 tu, leria insta turn, nepthy almost instantly turn, cinder almost insta turn, all those high speed monsters will enter 10-30 tu which is insanely good for pvp.

his true combos with albino protect maker and same thing with leria. He be doing true hit with excessive force killing anything in his path and elemental boosting thunder which already have good monsters at the moment, and he counters green which you see sakura and protectors are mostly green and the green whale

But other than that it’s a total deadweight and noone uses it.

You have to use it in the right setup, after giving turns to these fast speed monsters such as albino leria, pandora, you can kill him off with cinder, Another thing your missing out on is the reverse since these fast monsters enter pretty quickly he would be giving them team turn basically

Go awaken and run it then, you love S tier and in your eyes it is that strong.

Am three shards away from doing so, since hes a standard mythic i would not spend on him since i know something more overpowered will come out.

but hes definitely not a E tier, at worst S- for now and he will get better in future with fast speed monsters

There are plenty of other monsters which work well alongside protector makers and have a better fail case.

Speeding up teammates on their entrance is nice, but not necessarily significant. When I meet a Cypridrus I usually leave it for a moment and then kill it once I’ve gained some control. It’s not back-breaking to have a few enemies enter quickly. I feel more threatened by an enemy Lilithia.

If link storm was more of a thing I think it would have a home, otherwise it’s mostly outclassed. It can be cool for PvE where a speedy piercing true hit can do nice work, but again there are better options there.

The main standout right now is reverse, which is legitimately very strong when it lines up and it’s easy for the opponent to forget or have a hard time playing around. It gives the opponent even more reason to kill it than just the speeding up entrances. It’s a really hard one to judge though because it’s situational.

I think many are underestimating this guy, sure previously he was not strong enough because we did have that many fast monsters that can come in and control the game, but now its significantly better with albino leria pandora cinder they come in almost insta and can take out this guy if needed after the speed boost before the opponent can even react to them

Guess what you can also do with cinder you can chain the entrances if you have a bunch of fast monsters lined up than reverse when needed

I hear what you’re saying but if a monster requires a bunch of strong mythics in the team to make it worthwhile, that does make it quite niche. When you have a collection large enough to do something like that you can probably also maximise a bunch of other monsters to even greater effect. Something has to be in the lower tiers and I think Cypridrus is a pretty clear candidate for it, but that definitely doesn’t mean it’s unplayable.

I don’t understand how carmilla is better than brynhildr in pve. Carmilla immediately died to payback killer in several cases and becomes useless when it gets killed. Brynhildr is one of the best end game monsters when your team gets destroyed for pve. Risu summons 87 speed acorns that have piercing and stealth to whole team which the AI doesn’t know how to deal with it properly, gorgodrake can die in one turn after using a skill and should be lower than S for pve. Kirina is not reliable with her hp going up and down all the time and she’s slow to get a turn. Risu, kasumi brynhildr are top 3 most useful other than brynhildr not helping as a humanoid for bond quests

Brynhildr went down for the reasons I detailed. Carmilla I’ve found to be more reliable as a monster that can get a large number of kills. For buff levels of over 1.5, a few monsters like Risu and Brynhildr become better because they still deal with high buffs. There will be a different section in the tier list for that.

Gorgodrake usually gets quite a few attacks, each usually getting 2 kills… it’s plenty. I think it’s really underplayed in both PvE and PvP. Have you really had problems with Kirina? As long as she doesn’t get poisoned she clears through enemies so easily.

Yes kirina is weak in slightly buffed enemies the raw bloodfury doesn’t do enough sometimes to secure kills against storm.

Risu regardless of buffed or non buffed is the strongest pve monster given the technicality of summoning the acorns with 87 entrance stealth all. The only thing hurting Risu is the gravity field and man eater monsters which of course is rare. The acorns when given a turn after Risu dies can use the acorn rage will kills all four monster on opponent side or revive the last monster that died at full health if needed. It is good for almost everything except a few pve events like dungeon challenge.

Kasumi can work with reincarnated which allows an additional copy in the back at either low hp or max hp whether you run nepthys or Aurodragon. This further buffs the kasumi with its passive defence if you own more monsters than opponent. This will also allow the kasumi to transform and sleep or not sleep a target but regaining additional copies of it. The piercing damage output in the naked form with jerbos allows them to tank many hits with the 2000% attack and defence buff which can one shot pierce anything or blow themselves up if needed to make additional copies in the back. Even kasumi with the fortissimo+ skill can immediately kill a sleeping monster with its lethal piercing damage similar to the acorns of Risu and sacrifice again to make more copies.

Brynhildr is useful for the reason in the back when you have just a strong end game monster like cyclophina, hazuki or even tengoku to repeatedly heal and kill or almost kill any monster allowing you to win a game when you’re far behind.

Carmilla, if she dies by payback killer she’s done, even a shielded monster like voidress can maneater it and the shield will just disappear. If carmilla is alive it’s slow, it can kill one thing and if at any time it lowers its health a little bit, 59 tu is wasted to regain the health. Plus, if the enemy has shield it won’t gain any health at all. The vigor blood bite also stacks and you would need to kill several monsters to kill even slightly buffed monsters.

Kirina inverts health and if there is back to back monster turns with the auto poison feature or if kirina is slept she dies immediately. The only strong piercing skill is desperate stampede but after it kills a buffed enemy its other three moves don’t do enough damage to kill another buffed enemy to keep stacking its raw bloodfury of which needs several kills in order for it to really do enough damage to the remaining buffed enemies. If no protector the true hit is useless and the hp always inverts after using a move. It’s squishy and slow to get a turn. It is good for non buffed only.

As for gorgodrake, it should definitely be put down in pve from S. With it dying after a turn or two at times without a reincarnation makes it weak. The damage output when an enemy or more than one enemy in buffed in pve and poisoned, is not enough to kill it at times and if poison immune, it’s useless. The death revenge cannot pierce kill through shields or kill a monster.

Cinder on the other hand should replace gorgodrake in S given its immediate kill negating revenge with killing a teammate. Set up with a reincarnation, it can become a major problem, with 80+ speed, stun bisector and lower than 100 tu moves it can be a sweeping threat.

In what PvE content are you finding that Kirina, Carmilla and Gorgodrake are not dealing enough damage?

Can you please share Risu as your friend monster for a while? I’d like to try her out in PvE some more.

Thanks for highlighting Cinder. I think she was one I planned to move up but forgot about. What’s the damage from Farm Noob like?

The average number of turns is 6. If you use the secret skill it will get another turn in ~53 seconds (basically the same as taking a single turn off) and average 9-10 turns. I completely understand that the variance in how many turns you get is annoying, but the average is good. Against poison immunes you have bloodthirst. It’s just that initial turn or two where it cannot kill a poison immune.

Yeah sure, with gorgodrake, his damage output fails to kill against buffed water enemies and buffed enemies in general such as 160k+ defence of verosia, bind quests 100-120, UC and island challenge to name a few. He also dies very quickly and if the opponent isn’t poisoned by using a purify he needs to waste 51 tu to have a 77% chance to poison. With the enemy having any monsters with stealth, hold ground or poison immunity he won’t be able to kill it.

Risu with the acorns with 87 speed entrance is fast doing piercing 33k-60k damage against buff is insanely powerful and when it dies, it heals the entire team. with Risu dying and then using the acorn rage it does over 200k damage to each monster unless stealthed. Paired with entrance monsters like rhinedragon, tengoku leira etc, it can allow such combos to progressively go in your favor. It is good for all pve content other than dungeon challenge and time attack. It can also be used for heavily buffed monsters in UC in some cases. Risu alone has 70% speed as well with a perfect stance buff when camoflauge.

Carmilla, if it dies it doesn’t penetrate shields or hold ground, if it loses an ounce of health, you need to waste 59 tu to get health back but can’t get it back if the opponent has been on hold ground or shielded. Also you need multiple kills stacked for vigor bloodbite to do any sort of meaningful enough damage. She’s slow as well and dies immediately to super epics with payback killer.

Cinder has the ability to kill a teammate to kill a random enemy with piercing not allowing a death revenge to activate, this allows the farm noob to do about 10k damage and it stacks after each kill up to five times with the gg no re skill at 59tu. The only issue with farm noob is that it has no piercing. Gg no re can rewind the enemy that has kills. Stun bisector protection and only weak against sleep and water poison mythics like astrajlyth but he’s so slow.

Kasumi can only be stopped by decree of mercy to keep it from reincarnating itself but she can sleep the decree of mercy bird and kill it immediately with the fortisssmo + then immediately reincarnate itself with this jerbos. In her first singing form and jerbos, the only drawback is the jerbos will do less damage it’s only when the naked form do they do ridiculous damage with the piercing. But 75% sleep and 100% sleep with secret skill make it a great monster for buffed and non buffed. It lacks speed as well, but is second to Risu in usefulness overall. Time attack and dungeon challenge of the only two it won’t be too useful.

Is F.D Morgan really that good that its S+ for Pve?

No she is not good enough for S+ absolutely should be A. Cannot pierce kill death revenge monsters and buffed ones she won’t do enough lethal damage. Good with Maeve but still not good enough

This is all heavily buffed content. The situation is different for those. My ratings are based on buffs up to 1.5x.

I appreciate all the effort you’re putting into writing those descriptions but save yourself the time. You’re repeating yourself a bit and I know already how things are in the heavily buffed context.

So after 1 kill it deals 10k damage against heavily buffed enemies? It also increases for each kill she has? I just want to confirm here.

For super buffed content she falls off, because the damage won’t be high enough. However, for most of PvE she comfortably one-shots and at an insanely fast rate. Her SS now lets her immediately kill F.D. Lotus on the first turn to get 40% acceleration then basically you just need a bit of disruption/control from your team (F.D. Clover does the job) and you’ll be able to sweep your way to victory. It only requires the SEs to be good.

It’s 35TU piercing kills that do over 10k damage (~14k if all flutters)… that’s an insane tool for PvE.
