Gazer and ldiefaeth should be S+ tier. Gazer should be obvious and ldiefaeth is amazing in the frontline at all levels of pvp.
I’d say in every part of a team he will be amazing, he just does pretty well in FL
The Chinese tier list, as shared by @NTT.
Thanks so much for this, I will have a proper look now that I’ve formatted it like this!
SSS
SS
S
A
Not placed (presumably all B tier or lower)
For pve, risu should be S+. The acorns she summons are unlimited and they can do 50,000 damage piercing to any monster. Great for all buffed content
Yeah, losing the restriction of making only one acorn at a time radically changed the way she plays, much more than I expected. It’s practically infinite sendback and repeatedly putting stealth on herself so she tanks almost everything meanwhile getting piercing kills and you don’t really care about DR and such because your acorns are expendible.
I’d like to see her more in PvP so I can get an idea of how she plays now.
In PvE I can definitely imagine you can chain everything and get lots of piercing kills easily or revive buffed enemies, etc. Seems like a huge amount you can get from playing a single monster.
Thanks for pointing it out! I’ll adjust her this weekend.
Not playable in high PvP - to beat medium size accounts you can use any other mythic.

superb
Personally, I don’t rate it very highly. I use it for this rule; it has too many situational movements. It’s hard to see if it doesn’t have its targets, even worse if there’s a gravity field.
tier list too p2w. I prefer kd’s
You should pin this on Chinese tier list as a new topic
Just asking how many days are you off from getting the 1,000 day daily mission icon
That’s impressive
Leira and pandora both in B tier is interesting…
Edit: nvm pandora, I didn’t see the part where it’s S+ tier if you own a boxchomp
Thanks for the suggestions about Deathgazer and Ldiefaeth too.
Gazer went down after it no longer brings itself forward. With all the nerfs it’s received, I think it’s quite a bit more restricted in where it’s useful. I don’t like how it’s weaker now in poison setups because it can’t do a poison storm super fast right around when your teammates are getting turns.
Ldiefaeth is super strong but basically it’s for link teams. Too often it can get stuck without a target that you need to have a reason to use yingyang accelerate. It’s one I’ve been on the fence about putting up to S+ though. Shikabloom is the one I’m likely to drop, but I wanted to see if a bunch of mythics becoming beasts makes it great again.
Leira I know is a complex one. It depends on how much you want to value combo enabling and that usually means the more competitive you are and the bigger your collection then the higher you’ll value it. People’s opinion on it have shifted a lot over the years so I can tell it’s from meta changes and since it got the buff of a second mermaid’s hex use. I’m happy to move it one tier up but no more.
Pandora I haven’t updated it since her nerf. Any input on how significant that is would be helpful! Otherwise…
Bro hates Leira
Even with that in mind, I’d still give leira S tier or S- at the lowest. It’s so good at enabling combos even if you don’t have that big of a collection. It goes with carmillette (obvious choice), trimaegus, cent, huskegon, other stunners as a budget option, time restricted mons, and even orochi endgames.
Leira used to have issues with being deadweight but not anymore. Mermaid hex x2, counterslash, swift purifying shield, and the occasional swap for helper all starting from 4-7 seconds after entering the field is a huge pain to deal with. And if it ever does become deadweight, chances are you’ve already gotten more than enough value out of it anyway.
Also leira helps asmodia and summon two babies that can give u match sometimes.
Thing is, I’ve had so many battles where I’m in enough control that Leira next in line is simply not a problem. I either kill it when it enters by lining up two attacks or they get to mermaid’s hex but then can’t do anything with it because their other monsters are not in great shape.
The teams where I’ve seen it be more reliable are the ones stacked full of powerful mythics. I’ve also heard from a bunch of players that they haven’t been able to utilise it super well, meanwhile competitive players with large collections tell me it should be high tier. So I feel like it’s collection dependent.
While the tier list is generally that the higher tier means the monster is more powerful, it gets complicated considering all the nuances. Mid-tier, to some extent, is for monsters that can perform like S tiers in the right team/scenario. Combo enablers tend to end up there, while monsters that swing matches end up in the S tiers. So Asmodia and Huskegon are in S tiers, while Leira is A-C. Nightingale is also a combo enabler but has the ability to rescue you from a bad position which might swing a match, so it’s up in S-. Combo enablers that are extremely consistent or need minimal building around can also end up higher. Leira requires minimal building around if you have certain key monsters, which honestly is I think why she plays so well for top people but not everyone can do that.
Alright, I’ll try a different approach for this one. Is there any reason why don rilla shouldn’t be moved down at least three tiers? Rilla, ALYCE, nagandia, orochi, and voidress all being in the same tier is nuts. Not gonna be replying to replies btw.
