Good…
You remembered to move Void up the tierlist.
You can’t put Hazuki in A and consider this one a fair placement. It now has unlimited 42tu move that instantly disables any Confident/Vigor based monsters. I would put it at A now, after playing it a bunch. It is also extremely easy to charge those 3 piercing kills back to back. In my based opinion it is A/S- with those two immunities and high attack.
She should be at A, now that every dragon gives her even more attack and def. Great one to counter monsters with standard death revenge.
At least B now, lower tu on purify stealth (for allies too) and better SS made Ankara worth purchasing now.
Okay, hear me out. She has payback revenge without being weak to payback killer and a crazy defence boost that will be hard to pierce with nullify strikes. Lack of HG helps her to not die to a poison tick, so the revenge goes off more often. You are correct that she might often be forced to backbite to get charged but I believie that she is now at least A if not S-.
This should be the easiest E → S in the entire update. 25tu Ritual and Maneater and Payback Killer and Camouflage. Ntohing more to add here.
This is hard. She is S tier supporter but B tier sweeper. Can we make her A for that at least one guaranteed kill on anything while having roaring, unstoppable entrance?
E for PvP and it is a sad story.
I want to hear an explaination on this one.
All jokes aside, I weirdly love this one and I don’t know how it can be as bad as you think it is. With XYZ being stronger (well, after his boost, maybe now not so much) it was perfect to run instead of stun counters.
She was just buffed with punish having focus and you are lowering her ■■■. Why?
The rest of movements regarding PvP I can get behind.
As for the newest myths that I got to test out:
Shi Na → A for PvP
Isoldelle → easy S+ tier for both PvE and PVP, not even questioning it. The passives are just crazy.
I’m with Coltraz 100%.
Thanks a lot for all that! Generally speaking, you like to put monsters higher than I do. I try to keep them properly spread across the tiers, which means I’m a bit harsher than one would expect. So a tier lower on anything is basically that, rather than me intending any disrespect to the monster.
Sivanna I’m definitely on board with raising it, but would like a bit more time to have perspective on it. If you try it / meet it a bunch more I’d love to hear about how it performed.
Uraniumedhus I wasn’t exactly sure where to raise it to. My main issue with it is the low speed, defence and dual weakness. I feel it’s too easy to kill, but it clearly wrecks the opponent’s team once it gets turns. The killing spree is hard to value in my head properly. I’m happy to bump this up further, but what’s your take on the fact it’s so easy to kill?
When I ran it for an entire season I played it with hp boost so Orca would fail to kill it. Now with poison immunity being an actual poison immunity, it is harder for standard poison EGs to wipe it before it can charge and get going. My opinion is that Uranium became a good mix of a sweeper and a support mon that can weaken the enemies by a lot, while still having a reliable sweeping moves and a unique mechanic to it.
I’ve seen you say this a few times but by my numbers Orca should still kill it fine. The HP boost stops the likes of Chromera from one-shotting with chrono killer or Dolphreeze/Raizen time’s up but things like Dracorosa’s defang, and any full attack legendary with chrono killer will still one-shot it. It’s 5750 damage so not guaranteed to kill with the ±10% but will mostly one-shot. Are my numbers not what you’ve experienced?
That’s a good point about how it can be used to combat poison end-games because if the opponent finds it awkward to kill they’re in for a lot of trouble.
Oh yes ,I am forgot @Killerdog . Jaguardian should be little lower. Maybe S- (for PVP) . Double retribution deal bad damage for tanky meta FL. For FL he is not that good againts myth, in mid/endgame also hard to trigger double retribution
plus haze is too high TU for a 1 time secret skill, could be around 100 to 70 TU
Yeah I’d say even less than that lol. It doesn’t do enough damage and dies so easily now
huh, didnt expect it to be my account’s second birthday today, happy birthday to my nearly-aborted son
glad coltraz pointed this out because its an odd decision.
i use tyrfina in around 60-70% of my PvE teams.
i understand that you may be trying to compare her with other monsters with less restrictive instakill moves however that isn’t all she brings to the table.
her Purifying Mist is quick enough to protect you against the majority of frontline setups. her ability to heal off hold ground is great and since she had such high speed she is a good controlled entry type monster which can lead to multiple protectors defending your team.
ngl i don’t know what her SS is since im able to use her in 2nd form just as effectively. lol.
for me she is borderline S- for general PvE. A at the least.
worth noting that she has really high attack so bloodthirst can deal pretty decent damage even uncharged. obviously vs non buffed.
It’s one I looked at lowering but didn’t feel strongly enough to do it. Thanks for the nudge, I’ll do it.
(Quoted text is about Tyrfina)
I’m incredibly confused by the statements you’re making about Tyrfina, especially since you’re referring to it in second form. How are you letting multiple enemies get 2+ kills? Why are you using it in FL unless it’s for a very specific, known battle? How does 1-kill bloodthirst have any PvE application?
Honestly, the PvE selling points are bloodcrush (only on awakened) and from the brink. Regular (enough) piercing killing and being hard to kill if you play it carefully means it will do alright, but even then it’s a little tricky to get the kills necessary. One kill is probably fine, but the second will either be quite slow or after powering up a bit with from the brink.
Now I think about it more I’ve maybe even been generous with C tier. I moved her down to rebalance the tier sizes a bit and she stood out as the weakest in that tier. The buff she got recently also isn’t particularly relevant to PvE.
Btw I own Tyrfina in 2nd form since her initial release and she was on my list of mythics to awaken for a while. I love the design but it’s sadly not particularly strong compared to other options, especially in PvE. On release the punish move was 100TU. The fact they’ve now made it 30TU shows how much of a buff she needed to become playable.
the fact that she is so difficult for ai to kill makes her a perfect frontline monster alongside monsters without hold ground like ankhou, tortogiest, spookoid, dolphoone in buffed battles and monsters like the GFs, tenebris, Plumesilisk, Lunactia (she is v good with her because she summons rocks which charge her punish and the rocks tyrfina summons with her entrance passive too. ) in non buffed
The AI doesn’t consider her a threat and often leaves her alone until her punish is active.
she can be used to bolster so many strategies with that super fast purifying mist (i also have unicera but i just find tyrfina more useful) like death sentence and bomb strats.
i first started really experimenting with her in a GoH event and found her particularly useful there.
this was all before she has been buffed.
she is in my autobattle teams for bond quest as well.
also since she has fron the brink she is pretty good at killing dr mons (similarly with rhinedragon/glimmerdrake) as she just heals herself if it hits her.
i also recommend the Heavenswyrm, Chronotitan, Tyrfina combo. Shield + Bomb + stealth is just so hard for ai to counter.
Still remember the days where Jag was considered a top 5 legend.
Couldnt agree more
No movement for Atlanachia and Vixian for pvp after their little buffs, id think Atlanachia deserve that F spot compare to the others
@Unholy_Prem ur thoughts on this one?
personally I’m surprised. the tricertalon combo exists to a degree still. as does the bovolcus one. she has an instant kill move and can summon a pretty useful se as well as 2 DR monsters when she dies.
the change to moogong only really means it can’t be used to rocklock particularly well.
id always just assumed leira was somewhere around B rank. very surprised that she was D.
E seems harsh. i get that she can also become deadweight so i assume that factors into the decision.
Isoldelle is clearly very powerful.
But, also… With 2nd form tier 3. And she’s gotta be on the low end of tier 3, too… FFS.
@Killerdog Nightingale is easily A or higher for pvp. the instant purity. can kill 2 monsters without their revenge coming up and the GT ability can be neat in certain teams. She a good pvp monster
