why though?

:backhand_index_pointing_up:

Really? I’ve got him but never bothered to UE him. Union: excessive didn’t seem like that bananas of a buff?

I just got a copy of centaurion… Why exactly is he s+ for PvP? I feel like there’s so mething in not seeing

It’s a great counter to sleep with instant purify

Can threaten mantis fls with counter strike and Nightwatch (could potentially threaten vixen with protector)

And champion entrance is a sweet passive

Wouldn’t be alone, but with recent scarle and megalo buff you basically have a SUPER fast fl which always has some targets, especially against char prixis

It’s not tbh. My advice would be use the tier list as a guide but make your own decision.

Monsters offer different things so what you might find most useful for your teams could be S tier, S- tier or lower rather than the S+ tier. Centaureon is among the best options among legendaries for something in the end-game that can swing a match back in your favour. 80s stun + instant purify on entrance is very useful utility. Just don’t go counting on him as a sweeper unless you create a token to kill and, for that reason, he’s not good to play in the front half of your team. He was sitting around S- to S tier for recent years but since the nerf to tranquilising entrance I basically swapped him with those two. I’m a fairly strong believer in having a couple of stunning entrances in your team powering it up. Centaureon and Trimaegus are pretty much the best legendary options for that at the moment.

As Lemon says though, this tier list is not meant to be anything definitive. It’s just a resource to gain some insight and then use to make your decisions. I hope that it also highlights some powerful, but underrepresented, monsters that exist. Also bear in mind that exact tiers are somewhat arbitrary in any tier list. You should only ever take them as a rough measurement.

Glad to see you’re enjoying it! Yeah, it’s definitely not E tier after the buff! Delugazar of old is maybe a little stretch though… back then that was a nuts counter to all the chrono we had everywhere, stun was pretty easy to set up timestrike and team turns were popular which were ideal for the piercing double bloodthirst. It was an S+ monster. Shadowyrm when you meet a protector is now very significant though!

Could we be getting close?

No, we’re about 2-3 weeks out from another tier list update. I just had my most insane week of work. Went from 9am - 4am on Monday, until midnight on Weds, 10pm Friday and did 2pm - 4am Saturday (normal 9-5 on Tues and Thurs, making it 76 hours total and when I say ā€œinsaneā€ it was all the stress and what I was actually doing, not just the hours involved). So that, combined with other things means I basically haven’t made any progress towards game community stuff (forum, videos, etc.) for the past couple of weeks. I’ll get to the tier list eventually, but my priority right now is some YouTube videos.

When you do update the tier list, don’t forget to boost Void’s ranking. You promised you would~

Absolutely!

You do you man, I mean you don’t actually owe us anything here. You could call it quits for good with this game tomorrow and not be a criminal

Tagosenshi should be s- in my opinion, having camouflage helps him a lot in story battles and events while double bloodthirsty with poison coating ensures he can clear the opponents quickly, double bloodthirst+ camouflage+ poison coating I don’t think it shld be in A (in general tier list)

tago is a very good monster i agree. one that is often overlooked as well. it’s problem is that when you start to come up against buffed monsters it struggles to get its blood move charged therefore i think it is more a useful all rounder monster for PvE and PvP rather than one more suited to either. for this reason I would say A tier is probably an accurate place for it in general (PvE) tier.

i would also say that it’s 2nd evolution is pretty good value btw. unless the devs have reworked it.

Lol the only reason I was able to clear story was because of tago double bloodthirst, though his attack is a bit low, in my usage I’ve found its mostly able to one shot with poison chomp(unless their element is electric) and through assasinate too(against mons with low or med health and hp)the bots are super bad in dealing with camouflage, that’s why I feel it provides more usability in pve and story battles.
(Super bad as in sense they fail to consider how attacks like one on one and stun are not affecting tago and how if you Target him and some other mons, only the other selected mons will die)

once you get to the online hell modes poison monsters tend to start to suffer since their attacks aren’t strong enough against buffed. tago is essentially a poison support monster which has the bonus of double bloodfury if you are able to get kills (i used to use him with Lunactia for this precise reason, she would make a rock for him to assassinate and i would sweep)
overall that isn’t enough to be a PvE specialist monster like the S-,S and S+ tiers.

but he is still enjoyable to play with and against non buffed opponents i agree he rocks!

by the way your point about camouflage is something that i agree with however i would suggest basically any camo monster has a bonus vs AI. lol

If you get a Torrentide it can pretty much solo story mode and the majority of online PvE story. Even with buffed monsters it takes a long time, but Torrentide can carry alot.

Yeah some of the legends are, in my opinion, better before UE. For instance, doomengines moveset is identical in 2nd form to the 3rd, and since the bomb move is still a crit no matter what, unless you add his SS there’s literally no reason to UE him.

So he’s just a kickass cloner at 8 cost.
