Still, as convoluted the game is becoming, I think moves based on the very properties of the numbers representing the time taken by a monster to complete a move wouldn’t help the game a lot

Lock is waaaay too strong. It’s like sleep but can’t be removed by poison, purify and it doesn’t wear off lol. I’ve always like the destiny bond kind of idea and transferring damage too, they could fit onto certain monsters nicely.

Maybe your ā€œlock + death bondā€ idea could work if the monster was like this…

I really like the odd/even moves! We have timestrike and faststrike which already use the numbers and the odd/even wouldn’t be hard to learn. Auto odd/even shield is also a super cool defensive passive. I think that kind of passive would be great to have in the game because currently shield entrance and hold ground don’t give the designers much flexibility when they want to make something tank but also easy enough to kill.

Unmovable can be changed to Gravity Field as the enemy team can pull back the locked monster.

Could do, but I think that’s where it would start becoming too strong. Lock is like a more powerful version of sleep because it can’t be removed which is why I increased the TU to 80 and lowered the duration from 320s to 300s. Once Death Bond is on an enemy there’s similarly no way to remove it which is a bit cruel. I felt that purposefully leaving the door open by letting them pull it back to remove the bond was better. To be fair there’s not a huge number of monsters which can pull/send/step back so it shouldn’t be a worry for Soulprison.

I wanna update the lock restriction to be ā€œthis effect is active only if the user is on the battle.ā€ so knock back can be counter for the lock skill.

Are you sure 160 tu is not too hight? 100 tu may be good.
Imagine when use lock then fail then lock then fail then lock then work then use death bond 160 tu then use again 160 tu. and dont forget the counter like unlock, lock killer with roaring entrance, lock immunity, or even lock immune with unlock skill (if needed).

What’s your opinion about Bloodbeast?

It’s similar to Translocation of Gero. but different.

I like design like that… exciting skil.

A new passive idea:

Link Resistence
It buffs the monster’s defense for each teammate of the same element.

It could also have a similar thing for attack.

New monster idea:

Active Skills:

  • Attack All
  • Forced Life Flip: like Life Flip Ally, but the enemies are targettable too and it’s unlimited. (130/160 tu)
  • Poke: deals exactly 1 damage. (1 tu, can only be used up to 5 times per battle)
  • Clone Next (70 tu)

Secret Skill: Instant Life Flip Ally (1 tu, can only be used once per battle)

Passive Skills:

  • Hold Ground
  • Reckless Inducing: whenever this monster is dealt damage, some of it is reflected back to the attacker.

Skill idea:
Sentinel strike (70 sec). Deals critical damage to monsters with protector killer and sleep killer.
