sakuralisk and shikabloom are males, in neo if a monster is a female then we will see it without ambiguity
I think animal-based monsters can be both male or female 
after all it’s not like real life female animals walk around with eyelashes and human breasts

Monsters can be female, but EmeralDEUS is not! If it was EmeralDIVA or EmeralDEA or EmeralDOMINA I would’ve admitted defeat and raised the white flag of surrender, but as of now? Never!
Although I can concede and maybe come to a common ground: Emeraldeus has no gender: too ascended for that.

here is a small example of a non-humanoid female monster, we can see without any ambiguity that it is indeed a female, so all the monsters mentioned above cannot be female, the devs will never release a female monster that does not have no chest it’s impossible
