KD's Monsters designed after community members

Preface

Hey everyone, I started a project a few months back where I have been designing monsters after particular community members. A couple aren’t in the community any more but made an impact or made lots of friends. These monsters are not what the person would want added to the game, they’re designed after the strategies that person likes or some other fun concept related to them or perhaps the name of the monster.

These monsters are often complicated and have some crazy ideas in them but they’re all intended to be monsters that could legitimately be added to the game. They’re mostly intended to be reasonably strong but if you are certain something is overpowered then point it out!

For each monster there is a section under a drop down which explains in detail how the monster is designed after the person as well as how it works. I highly recommend you read those, you will get a lot more out of this thread if you do!

The Mythics

Name: Don Trainer (mafia human-like being with a capture card in hand)
Stats: Holy, 45%, 14-17, Rounded
Actives:
(-) Link hit all (100TU) [not assisted boost]
(-) Drain survivor (130TU)
(-) Purifying mist (100TU)
(-) Friend half revival (130TU) [revives the last one of your monsters that died at 50% max HP, ignores opponent’s monsters that have died and cannot revive a monster already revived by another skill, no limit use]
SS: Link 300s bubble (100TU) [this monster is immune to all damage for the next 300s but all damage dealt by it will be reduced to 0 for this duration, attacks will still remove things like shields and trigger overwatch]
Passives:
(-) Hold ground
(-) Vengeful converter [when a teammate dies this monster has a 50% chance to instantly get a turn]

Non-awakened version has no vengeful converter and survivor instead of drain survivor.

Designed after @DonT89
  • Trainer because he’s a collector of monsters
  • Link holy team revival theme because he can have more of his impressive monsters, the ones he wants to play for various synergies
  • The design is it goes into a bubble (the trainer watching the battle) and supports with purifying mist and link hit all (which can remove shields or stealth) as well as reviving teammates that die. After that ends it can drain survivor

Name: Dracogenius (old dragon with a goaty beard and spectacles)
Stats: Storm, 38%, 14-16, standard defence
Actives:
(-) Perfect strike (130TU) [deals high damage to one enemy if no teammates have died since the user’s last turn and heals the user for a small amount (deals roughly 1/2-2/3 of an enemy’s HP and heals by ~1000HP when mythic)]
(-) Time’s up (100TU)
(-) Guard stun pulse (30TU) [guard = you must have 2 or more monsters with protect skills on the battlefield]
(-) Guard pull back (70TU)
SS: Swift sleep all (70TU) [100s restriction from first turn]
Passives:
(-) Champion protection [auto-protect + HG]
(-) Champion entrance

Non-awakened version has chrono killer instead of time’s up, auto-protect instead of champion protection and stunning entrance instead of champion entrance. Champion protection is the unique move/passive.

Designed after @Mr.X
  • Champion passives referring to his 1st places in PvP and love for Centareon which has champion entrance
  • “genius” in the name and “perfect” in the first move are references to the well known IQ claim he made and general talking about PvP (negative things but meant respectfully)
  • Includes all the bits he likes in his play-style (protectors, stun control, sleep all from Sanctistag and time’s up)
  • The design is it tanks and has bits to control the field, but unless you have another protector its choices are limited. It has a lot of weaknesses but with a shield, hold ground and high defence + health it is challenging to get through

Name: Kirahound (Bernese mountain dog)
Stats: Holy, 72%, round, 14-17
Actives:
(-) Swift assisted single (100TU)
(-) Everything killer (70TU) [high damage against a monster with any killer weakness, doubled and tripled damage if they have two/three weaknesses, one-shots at two]
(-) Share experience (70TU) [fully heals, purifies and shields a teammate, resets Kira’s kills to 0 and can only be used if Kira has 1 or more kills]
(-) Battle hardened (130TU) [boosts the defence of all current teammates by +25% for each kill Kira has (stackable up to +100%), resets Kira’s kills to 0 and can only be used if Kira has 1 or more kills]
SS: Absorb experience (1TU - 50TU) [resets the kills of all teammates to 0 and increases Kira’s kill count by the number removed]
Passives:
(-) Stun immunity
(-) Stun revenge

Note: The SS could be as fast as 1TU potentially, but I was hesitant to create a monster that can instantly double the defence of all your teammates as soon as it gets a turn. Something in region of 1-50 is what I recommend.

Non-awakened version has shield self instead of battle hardened, toxic killer instead of assisted single and sleep killer instead of everything killer.

Designed after @Killerdog
  • Everything killer to exploit all weaknesses, as I gained from analysing everything heavily
  • “Experience” being a theme which is referencing knowledge shared through guides and gained from others
  • Share experience is teaching a teammate, battle hardened is writing a guide (boost to all) and absorb experience is learning from others
  • This design is it can convert kills done by your team into support buffs while also countering monsters with multiple weaknesses (something not done before)

Name: Memartisan (a painter with Mojinator and The Rockoid painted on its body)
Stats: Holy, 68%, 14-16, rounded
Actives:
(-) Element shift ally (50TU) [changes the element of a teammate to the element it is currently weak against, 100s restriction from start of battle]
(-) Revenge strike (130TU) [deals critical damage, can only be used if a teammate has been hit by an enemy attack since this monster’s previous turn - basically an upgraded retribution but can’t be used first turn]
(-) Painter’s strike (160TU) [deals critical damage to two enemies if a target is the element most recently shifted to with element shift ally]
(-) Lucrative art (50TU) [heals all teammates for a small amount, usable only once after each use of element shift ally]
SS: Creative painter (100TU) [add a copy of target enemy next in your reinforcements with full HP and with its element changed to be the element most recently shifted to with element shift ally, 150s restriction from first turn]
Passives:
(-) Poison immunity
(-) Hold ground

Non-awakened version has counter strike instead of painter’s strike, link salvation instead of lucrative art and no hold ground.

Designed after @Boiler
  • A better retribution for his love of the move (but it is weaker)
  • Element shifting because he always changes his name
  • He makes loads of memes so reference in the name and the creativity in the secret skill
  • Lucrative art is a reference to gem deals / 6th pack guarantee (selling out for health = the Devs going for money)
  • Holy element to not support too many link teams (it can only switch between holy and shadow), also a time restriction on element shift ally from the start of battle
  • The design is it situation-ally shifts the elements of allies to line up critical hits that can punish link teams. If used to create powerful link combos its moveset becomes very restricted.

Name: Professormod (crazy scientist)
Stats: Fire, 28%, 14-16, full attack
Actives:
(-) Bloodthirst random (100TU) [random enemy]
(-) Goblinoll substitute (130TU) [pull back a teammate to leave a Goblinoll in its place, cannot be used if a Goblinoll is on the field already, 3-time use]
(-) Undercover bomber (50TU) [kills a teammate and adds a Demolition Expert into a random place in enemy reinforcements, usable only after goblin substitute has been used, 3-time use]
(-) Retribution (130TU)
SS: Taunt ally (100TU) [100s restriction from first turn]
Passives:
(-) Death revenge all [when this monster is killed by an enemy it has a 25% chance of dealing massive damage to all enemies]
(-) Death field [whenever a teammate is killed by an enemy it has a 16% chance of dealing massive damage to a random enemy, this will not trigger on token monsters or rockoids]

Goblinoll (troll-looking thing)
Stats: Fire, 55%, standard attack
Actives:
(-) Hit single (100TU)
(-) Sleep single random (100TU) [hits a random enemy, 75% sleep]
(-) Death roulette (100TU)
(-) Taunt (100TU)
Passives:
(-) Stun absorber

Demolition Expert (troll with bomb strapped to its back)
Actives:
(-) Hit single (100TU)
Passives:
(-) Explosive entrance (sacrifices itself on entry, dealing medium damage to all teammates)

Non-awakened version has bloodshed random (100TU) instead of bloodthirst random, undercover bomber is 100TU and no death field passive.

Designed after @NMEGaryOak
  • Death field for his obsession with death revenge and wanting to have it supported as an archetype
  • RNG as much as possible for his love of it
  • Death revenge all is all or nothing, huge potential but will fall flat most of the time
  • Stun absorber on Goblinoll because he wants more stun absorbers in the death revenge archetype
  • The design is it pulls back teammates to create taunting trolls with RNG moves then it can turn teammates into bombers that instantly explode on the enemy when they enter and it can attack a bit itself. It has low speed and minimum defence so it’s relatively easy to kill first but with protectors can be a menace with the death field

The Legendaries

Name: Chocowitch (evil human woman in apron and witch hat holding plate of cookies)
Stats: Fire, 43%, rounded, 13-15
Actives:
(-) Bake cookie (100TU) [add either one random bad/crumbly/fruity/perfect cookie next in the opponent’s reinforcements OR a full stats perfect cookie next in your reinforcements, 50:50 chance of either occurring]
(-) Add salt (50TU) [turn one enemy into a full stats bad cookie, can only target a crumbly or fruity cookie]
(-) Steal cookie (70TU) [instantly kill one enemy cookie and add it next in line to your reinforcements]
(-) Oven (130TU) [deals critical damage to one enemy if there is a friendly cookie on the battlefield]
SS: Weight gain (30TU) [double the HP of the user and fully heal the user, can only be used after 3 cookies have been created]
Passives:
(-) Hold ground
(-) Cookie field [when an enemy enters the battlefield there is a 35% chance to summon one random bad/crumbly/fruity/perfect cookie next in the opponent’s reinforcements. However, cookies and other tokens don’t trigger this ability]

All cookies have 99% speed with rounded stats, sleep immunity and stun immunity. They are all chocolate chip.

Bad cookie:
(-) Dangerous bite (100TU) [has a random outcome of poisoning your team, killing a random teammate or stunning a teammate by 100s]
(-) Discard (100TU) [instantly kill a cookie teammate. Can only be used after another move has been used by this monster]

Crumbly cookie:
(-) Crummy bite (30TU) [hits all teammates for a tiny amount and user loses 40% of max health]

Fruity cookie:
(-) Sweet bite (100TU) [slightly heals and purifies one teammate, 3-use limit]
(-) Sour bite (30TU) [slightly damages a random teammate and has a 40% chance of putting them to sleep]
(-) Discard (100TU)

Perfect cookie:
(-) Tasty bite (100TU) [fully heal one ally, 3-use limit]
(-) Sugar boost (100TU) [grant one teammate piercing with their next attack, 3-use limit]
(-) Stealth teammate (70TU)
(-) Discard (50TU)

Designed after @brown_witch
  • Cookie baking for her passion, then going crazy with the design where cookie tokens are made everywhere
  • Cookie field is copying Lunartic’s passive but with “bake cookie” adding some cookies guaranteed
  • Add salt is to make an enemy cookie worse, steal cookie to take any perfect cookie from the opponent
  • All cookies can remove other friendly cookies from the field but are forced to use a bad move first. Perfect cookies have support moves and can remove other cookies at high speed
  • The design is it messes up the whole field with cookies that can benefit on your side and ruin their side. It is a mixture of Kuraokami and Lunartic

Name: Fantastina (busty vampire)
Stats: Shadow, 62%, 13-15, full attack
Actives:
(-) Assisted single (200TU)
(-) Seduce (100TU) [target enemy cannot damage the user for the next 200s]
(-) Guard drop (30TU) [all enemy protect effects are ignored for the next attack this monster does]
(-) Slayerbane (70TU)
SS: Bloodsucker (1TU) [instantly kill one enemy that is on full health and full heal the user, usable only if the user has 2+ kills]
Passives:
(-) Hold ground
(-) Seductive aura [enemies hitting this monster have a 30% chance to be seduced, becoming unable to damage it for the next 200s]

Designed after @Phantom00
  • A busty female for his love of the Brynhildr’s of these games as well as the name being “fantasy-tina” as he fantasises about these female characters
  • The rest of the design is built on the theme of it being a female vampire with “seduce” and “seductive aura” being a typical thing they do, “guard drop” is using its attractiveness to bypass protectors and “bloodsucker” being a vampiric version of a blood move
  • The design is it uses its powerful slayerbane to take down the enemy sweepers, even if they are behind protectors (at a slight delay), while having the ability to protect itself from these sweepers both passively and with a skill. It has very limited damage potential outside of slayerbane to balance its powerful seduction effect.

Name: Hellvixen (dark Hellfox)
Stats: Shadow, 50%, 13-16, full attack
Actives:
(-) Hell retribution (100TU) [deals piercing critical damage to one enemy if a Hellfox or Hellvixen teammate has died since this monster entered the battlefield]
(-) Retribution clone next (100TU) [create a clone next in line with 50% max HP, can only be used once per battle and if a teammate has died since this monster entered the battlefield]
(-) Bloodfury (130TU)
(-) Stealthbane (100TU)
SS: Unleash hell (50TU) [give turn to a teammate and increase its kill count by 1, this can only target a Hellfox or Hellvixen teammate and cannot target itself]
Passives:
(-) Stun immunity
(-) Entrance next lv.4

Designed after @LemonSqueezy
  • A pair monster for Hellfox, Lemon’s favourite monster. It copies the style and makes it more powerful
  • Entrance lvl 4 to help trigger retributions easily (doesn’t have to be used in 5th spot, the clones will make this happen)
  • Stealthbane to kill monsters that can’t be hit by Hellfox’s double retribution
  • Slightly slower speed than Hellfox so it can use “unleash hell” to give turn to Hellfox straight after it uses double retribution or, if it couldn’t, to instantly charge rebirth
  • The design is for it to be used with Hellfox to be stun immune support and cloning annoyance if the newest one isn’t killed first (made awkward with Goldoids). If Hellfox is killed before any combo happens it can switch to being a sweeper with hell retribution and bloodfury or just focus on cloning itself. Unleash hell ties it all together with Hellfox and means it can turn other Hellvixen into sweepers

Name: Hibernangel (floating angelic figure)
Stats: Holy, 86%, 13-16, Full attack
Actives:
(-) Crescendo strike (50TU)
(-) Dreamhunt (100TU)
(-) Sendback next (30TU)
(-) Crescendo sleep (70TU) [30% + 5% for each crescendo use, capped at 80% chance]
SS: Instant crescendo blast (1TU) [50s restriction from first turn]
Passives:
(-) Gravity field
(-) Diminuendo mirror revenge [creates a copy of the monster that kills it next in line in your reinforcements, comes with 100% HP - 10% HP for each crescendo charged on this monster, at 10+ crescendo this passive does not trigger]

Designed after @Lucrayzor
  • Hibernate in the name for its unique crescendo sleep move
  • Crescendo for Lucrayzor’s love of that archetype and gravity field + sendback next for a counter to Motordragon-like monsters which Lucrayzor hates
  • This was an extra design for Lucrayzor, the original being Lucracyon below this. It is designed after what he likes and hates in the game while the other is a unique design after him as a person (if I had to pick one I’d pick the other monster, not this)
  • The design is for it to be a powerful control crescendo monster that is harder to counter because it has gravity field and the diminuendo mirror revenge that is powerful if this monster is killed early on. The first few moves it can do small hits of damage then it has a one-time kill with the SS and a reliable sleep move

Name: Lizlinks (lizard with chain-links around its limbs)
Stats: Water, 47%, 13-16, standard attack
Actives:
(-) Mark (70TU)
(-) Trap double (160TU) [trap two enemies if one of them is marked, removes mark from both targets, 5-use limit, a trapped monster will automatically skip its next turn and be put to 100TU with the trapped status removed, trapped status gets removed if the monster is hit]
(-) Mark sentence (70TU) [target enemy will die after 100s if the user is still on the battlefield, can only be used on a marked enemy]
(-) Bloodrage (-)
SS: Second wind (1TU)
Passives:
(-) Hold ground
(-) Mark gambit [marks a random enemy when this monster enters the battlefield]

Designed after @Zardecil
  • Traps, mark sentence and the chain-links on the monster are reference to Zardecil being a moderator on the forum and enforcing the rules
  • Mark sentence on a 47% speed monster is a reference to Ankoudragon’s link death sentence (Zardecil made a big deal over Ankoudragon on the forum after he got it from the one time he got bought gems)
  • Bloodrage references how, when pushed too far (gets two kills), Zardecil can get angry and go full force (a negative but not meant harshly)
  • When an enemy gets marked (marked for moderator action) they can either be sentenced to death (banned) or trapped which delays their next turn (suspended)
  • The design is to use mark to control the field with careful kills and a sleep-like effect. Mark sentence kills 100s after use so you can line up moves for the next monster entering

Name: Lucracyon (lightning wolf like Dusicyon with bolts coming out of it)
Stats: Storm, 77%, 13-16, standard defence
Actives:
(-) Speed and shell (130TU) [select a teammate and an enemy, the teammate gets move TU decreased by 20% while the enemy gets move TU increased by 20%]
(-) Desperate bite (100TU)
(-) Healing light (100TU)
(-) Survivor (80TU)
SS: Knight and dragon (70TU) [select a teammate to instantly kill an enemy, 100s restriction from first turn, cannot target the user, must target an enemy with 1+ kills]
Passives:
(-) Scholar of tales [the first time each teammate gets a kill it has a shield placed on it]
(-) Hold ground

Designed after @Lucrayzor
  • The name clearly references him and also Dusicyon, which it parallels as storm element’s equivalent
  • “Scholar of tales” references how Lucrayzor enjoyed writing fan fiction for a favourite game of his in the past. Two other moves are in this theme: “speed and shell” (hare and the tortoise) and “knight and dragon” (george and the dragon)
  • The design is for this monster to survive and support the team with acceleration, healing and a shield to any sweeper then later have survivor to do damage itself. It has limited damage potential to begin with but very diverse and powerful support. The desperate bite and survivor moves are weak due to the low attack. Essentially it’s a more balanced version of Dusicyon with more support focus but combos with it very well, a pseudo pair

Name: Mechamysterio (slot machine with rockoids, moji’s, etc. on the spinning wheels)
Stats: Earth, 66%, 13-16, rounded
Actives:
(-) Insert coin (130TU) [shields user, loads mortar, summons two rockoids at end of team, removes overwatch and applies “slots spinning”]
(-) Piercing mortar (50TU)
(-) Catapult (130TU)
(-) Rock pillow (100TU) [consumes one monster from the back of the team to have 75% chance putting target enemy to sleep, 50s restriction from first turn]
SS: Jackpot (70TU) [give one teammate the excessive force passive, consumes 4 monsters from the back of the team and must have mortar loaded, 150s restriction from first turn]
Passives:
(-) Slots ready [this passive is active as long as “slots spinning” is not applied. This monster has overwatch and getting hit by an enemy will apply slots spinning. Overwatch will not be applied if this monster is poisoned. Poison damage will not apply slots spinning]
(-) Unexpected results [this passive is active as long as “slots spinning” is applied. This monster has stun converter and getting hit by an enemy will remove slots spinning. Poison damage will not remove slots spinning. When slots spinning is removed, this monster will randomly use either piercing mortar, catapult or rock pillow, picking a random enemy target and with its current TU unaffected. If mortar is not loaded or there are no monsters to sacrifice and the respective move is selected then nothing will happen]

Note: To be clear, the “slots spinning” triggers like a switch, turning on/off each time the monster gets hit by an enemy and ignoring poison damage. Also, insert coin will turn it on if it’s currently off.

Designed after @Unown
  • Mysterio is a play on Unown’s name while both that name and the art design hinting at the heavy RNG aspect of the monster
  • Mortar, throw and sleep are Unown’s three favourite archetypes and things he is well known for, clearly displayed in the three moves
  • Extremely heavy RNG for Unown’s love of this
  • Lots of abilities involved to show the complexity of Unown’s clever team building that he’s well known for
  • The design is it uses insert coin to charge all three moves then can kill something with a piercing attack, put something to sleep or charge more to support the team and itself. When hit it will alternate between two modes, with insert coin setting it to the dangerous “slots spinning” mode manually. “Slots ready” is auto-overwatch and “Slots spinning” is stun converter + when hit it retaliates with a random one of the three moves to a random target, if possible. Both modes keep it from ever being easily disabled (overwatch or stun converter) and they are mostly controlled by the opponent so, for example, they can stop it spinning then stun it. It has serious damage potential and sleep support but is somewhat unreliable

Name: Ninjachan (Lily wielding a small hand cannon with katana on back/side, dressed as an attractive ninja and face mostly obscured)
Stats: Storm, 73%, 13-16, standard defence
Actives:
(-) Load stealth mortar (130TU) [loads mortar and applies shield + stealth to the user]
(-) Sneak piercing mortar (50TU) [needs mortar + stealth applied to user, bypasses protectors]
(-) Mist mortar (50TU) [purifies and applies stealth to the whole team, requires and consumes loaded mortar]
(-) Slip into shadows (50TU) [loads mortar and applies stealth to the user but does not apply a shield, usable only if a teammate other than the user has the stealth status]
SS: Blush (100TU) [applies a shield to all teammates, removes stealth from the user, requires stealth status to use]
Passives:
(-) Poison immunity
(-) Stealth gift

Designed after @Elizabethchan
  • Lily, the in-game waifu, after Elizabethchan’s known admiration for my voice
  • She’s a ninja because it’s cool but also because it’s Elizabethchan spying on me and that’s why the face is mostly obscured too, to cover the identity
  • Storm and mortar for the element and archetype Elizabethchan likes most of all plus stealth theme for cohesive design
  • Blush is something Lily does lots (and maybe Elizabethchan too) which is where her identity is uncovered despite the ninja costume, it shields the team from attacks as the enemy is taken aback by realising it is Lily but removes her stealth
  • The design is she’s hard to kill with the poison immunity making stealth + shield very effective. She does mist and piercing sweeping at good speed unless stealth gets removed from teammates, in which case she must load slower. She cannot do damage unless she has stealth, so can be shut down by fast hitting moves. Combos extremely well with camouflage monsters but slip into shadows does not apply a shield so she can be killed more easily when taking the speedy route

Name: Smashape (enraged, burning gorilla)
Stats: Fire, 51%, 13-15, full attack
Actives:
(-) Dual confident strike (130TU)
(-) Guard healing (50TU) [fully heal the user, 3-time use, guard = you must have 2 or more monsters with protect skills on the battlefield]
(-) Berserk smash (70TU)
(-) Bloodburn (160TU) [deals critical damage to all monsters except the user if the user has 4 or more kills, it deals even more damage for each kill after that, this attack ignores HG and shields]
SS: Berserk outrage (100TU) [deals lethal damage to three random targets other than the user, can only be used after the user has one or more kills]
Passives:
(-) Stun immunity
(-) Blood-fueled [when this monster kills a teammate it fully heals and counts as an additional kill for this monster]

Designed after @Saitama
  • Hits everything on the field without scrutiny, representing Saitama’s attitude of “anything goes” in PvP
  • Guard condition on the fast healing move to make this best work with protector spam, a strategy Saitama notoriously loves
  • RNG targeting because Saitama likes his RNG
  • The “confidence” and “berserk outrage” are not meant to be reflections of Saitama’s personality (they’re fit to the monster - not him), but he like many others on the forum has had his moments
  • The design is it has a high damage dual confident strike that doesn’t rely quite so much on 100% HP and it gets healed regularly to keep the move charged. The secret skill charges bloodburn which can be used to sweep the whole field repeatedly. Low defence, average speed and no shield/HG are to keep it in check. Combos with protectors, friendly token strategies and works well at the end of the team (best in throw teams)

Name: Tipsedron (pyramid that keeps falling onto its other faces)
Stats: Earth, 45%, 13-16, standard attack
Actives:
(-) Poison gas (50TU)
(-) Dual confident strike (130TU)
(-) Venom toxic strike (160TU) [toxic strike but poisons target]
(-) Tactical nap (130TU) [purifies the user then puts them to sleep, fully healing and placing a shield on them]
SS: Swift cobalt coating (50TU)
Passives:
(-) Fast recovery [any sleep or poison on this monster gets removed after 100s]
(-) Rapid poison healing [this monster heals by 0.5% of max health for every 1s passed while it is poisoned]

Note: Poison healing is a passive that heals for 0.2% for every 1s (100% over the 500s of poison). This “rapid” version is 2.5x the strength.

Designed after @squinty1880
  • “Tipsy” in the name and the fact it falls over is a reference to how Squinty is well known for chatting on Line while drunk, regularly (not meant badly - he literally asked for this to be the design)
  • “Poison” is used throughout the design to subtly be talking about alcohol / being drunk
  • The moves: Poison gas is him offering drinks to everyone. Dual confident strike is referring to the confidence alcohol gives people. Venom toxic strike is him throwing up on someone. Tactical nap is when the alcohol has made him sleepy so he takes a quick nap at the party before continuing and he’s gone to hide somewhere to do it (the shield)
  • The passives: Fast recovery references having a strong liver (poison) and sleep trouble (too much alcohol in the system to sleep properly). Rapid poison healing is the alcohol bringing him joy
  • The design is it benefits from poison and soft counters sleep while being challenging to kill at times as it can double defence and heal itself very easily. Max HP dual confident strike cannot be avoided by it being poisoned so it has regular good damage and it generally works well with other poison strategies

Name: Veninsleuth (Sherlock Holmes sliding blades out of his jacket)
Stats: Shadow, 74%, 13-16, full attack
Actives:
(-) Poisoning toxic killer (70TU) [if targeting a poison monster it deals critical and poisons the user, otherwise just small damage]
(-) Forgive (70TU)
(-) Detox strike (100TU)
(-) Raw bloodthirst (100TU)
SS: Link swift dreamcrush (70TU)
Passives:
(-) Sleep immunity
(-) Poison converter (gets a turn when inflicted with poison, triggers only if this monster is not poisoned already, once triggered it cannot trigger again for 100TU)

Designed after @Guesswhosback (aka Sherlock)
  • Veninsleuth means “venom - detective” (venin is French), referencing Sherlock with the detective bit but also how the design is he investigates the forum for toxic behaviour as a moderator and swiftly removes it
  • Forgive is referencing the compassionate side of his moderating
  • Sleep immunity and link swift dreamcrush are for Guesswhosback’s total love for one-on-one, with shadow type making it combo with Oniblade specfically
  • The design is an incredibly hard counter to poison while also having a combo with OoO or with detox strategies. Poisoning toxic killer can kill a poison monster then instantly give a turn to Veninsleuth for it to follow up with detox strike. Without an enemy poison monster to target there is almost no damage potential, so it is reliant on a OoO or detox combo

Other monsters

Name: Oakenrot (rotting tree)
Stats: Shadow, 41%, 10, full attack
Actives:
(-) Hit all (250TU)
(-) Link purifying stealth (70TU)
(-) Detox strike (100TU)
(-) Link give turn dual (130TU)
Passives:
(-) Elemental defence [boosts the defence of all teammates with the same element as this monster by 50%, if more than half your monsters on the battlefield have the same element as this monster then this monster also gets the boost]
(-) Poisoned entrance [enters the battlefield poisoned]

Designed after @Professor_Oak
  • Link give turn dual in shadow as support for Delugazar, referencing when Prof Oak did this with link earth in the lower bracket of PvP and got the move nerfed
  • A tree because it’s referencing Oak, rotting because it is shadow
  • Support for link shadow in general too with purifying stealth that can be used on teammates, boosting the defence of shadow allies and detox strike to use when teammates poison it

@LemonSqueezy
You were correct with most.

If you want to play the game yourself don't click this Still to guess are: - Hibernangel (really tricky one here) - Dracogenius (choosing two names doesn't count) - Fantastina - Smashape - Hellvixen - Professormod - Lizlinks - Kirahound (two names doesn't count)

When all are guessed correctly I will add a bit of a description to each to explain why they’re designed how they are and what they’re meant to do.

Don Trainer is for @DonT89 (i would say due to the name)
Hibernangel is for @ILAGaLOT due to his combo with leo and goldtail
Lucracyon @Lucrayzor for the name.
Veninsleuth @ItsSherlock due to sherlock in the description.
Hellvixen @LemonSqueezy not quite sure about this one
Dracogenius is a reference to my style of play can spot that one easily.
Oakenrot @Professor_Oak
Fantastina @NoelLemon2

Alright, let me have a twirl at this game.

Don Trainer is @DonT89
Lucracyon is obviously @Lucrayzor
Veninsleuth is @ItsSherlock
Hellvixen is @LemonSqueezy
Smashape is @Lynk (Remember his enraged rants?)
Dracogenius is @Killerdog
Oakenrot is @Professor_Oak
Lizlinks is @Zardecil
Memartisan is @Fredator since he was the one who made all those nice art pieces a long time ago.
Professormod is probably @NMEGaryOak, with the Goblintrolls being clones of himself.
Mechamysterio is @Mr.X due to the RNG nature of the monster.
Chocowitch is @brown_witch
Kirahound is @Killerdog’s second monster based off himself.

Memartisan is definitely @Fredator
Chocowitch is probably @brown_witch due to the name.
Professormod can be boiler or gary.

Killerdog does not play protectors and the monster has auto protect and hg and his stun pluse needs atleast two protectors in play for him to use it.

Swift sleep all is definitely a reference to stag thats why i think he ment the rng of sleep all.

Champions enterance and champions guard is definitely a reference to the liking of cent.

So i find it hard to be killerdog since it does not match his style of play.

There is this one, which is designed as a mortar monster which will give them a counter to sleep and poison (making mortar more well-rounded as an archetype). However, I don’t think you want it to be designed after you.

I will make one for you I promise!

Name: Stoutgunned (fat ninja with guns strapped onto it everywhere)
Stats: Shadow, 30%, full defence, 13-15
Actives:
(-) Double load mortar (130TU)
(-) Bloodcrush mortar (70TU) [piercing bloodfury]
(-) Purify (50TU)
(-) Raw load mortar (100TU)
SS: Overloaded (100TU) [piercing one-shot single target that fully heals user and loads all teammates, 200s restriction from first turn]
Passives:
(-) Insomnia
(-) Hold ground

Is the sleep crescendo hidan?

I didn’t make monsters after old members of the community (apart from Brown Witch because she was the first one I made). That’s why there isn’t one for Lochi even though he was a moderator and a big part of the community (plus I didn’t want to make another Motordragon).

Ah, my white shining *knight :heart_eyes_cat::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I actually said shining armor… what is that even supposed to mean I want to die

If it wasnt for the name showcased by @Phantom00 i would never guessed whos that person is.

I’ve added another monster: Tispedron! Check it out above and guess who in the community it is designed after.

Here’s what has been guessed correctly so far:

Here are the monsters still to guess (a hint for each in brackets):

  • Fantastina (focus on the fact it’s a busty character)
  • Hibernangel (this one is for someone already listed above that likes crescendo)
  • Mechamysterio (sleep, throw and mortar all in one with some RNG)
  • Smashape (focus on the fact it loves combat aka PvP and protectors)
  • Tipsedron (the hint is in the name, the move design is subtle)

I am missing a frog one :frog: name: Pepe

I’m gonna take a stab and say @Saitama.

Tipsedron must be @squinty1880 because he’s always pissed :joy: (Tipsy)
