I went to do some pvp after Survival of the Fittest and forgot to switch to my pvp team. No big deal I laughed it off and was prepared to get destroyed. However, my opponent somehow had no stun protection in their FL and I had a novadrake so I decided to see how far I could get with it just for fun. I also had a protector as it usually gives novadrake a few more hits with its aoe and that’s all I need for SotF. So I was on my way, novadraking my opponent when he gets two consecutive turns with his monsters. One was dolphoenix and the other ahuizard. I wasn’t worried as my novadrake was about to get a turn right after. However, against all odds the dolphoenix hits behind my protector (which had used protect teammates) and is then able to take out novadrake with ahuizard. Now I have no problem with losing the game, however what I am a bit flabbergasted by is that manual protect teammates isn’t 100%.
Protector killer ignores protectors so it can target around them. I’m assuming that’s what Dolphoenix used. Ahuizard has raw throw… raw also ignores protectors.

Be a bit useless if the attack that is supposed to counter protectors couldn’t hit past protectors
I find it kinda silly that protector killer can be used to finish off monsters behind protectors. I get that it was buffed to counter AP spam but that kind of usage doesn’t feel like it should be a feature.
Wow. I never even thought of that, but it says right in the skill description it can’t be redirected 
Does the AI just never use it that way because it prefers to critical hit the protector instead of bypassing it to kill a crucial low monster? I don’t recall ever seeing that happen.
Here is the reason you are getting destroyed . Turning battle to 1v4 is a good idea rather than aoe spam . Aoe spam made u lose control over their mons . If you could make the battle even
2 v 4 and you have a nova Drake on the field no one can stop you from the victory .
Yeah that’s silly but ap spam is coming back I think we should keep it as it is now
He said at the beginning how he accidentally used his SotF team in PvP. The team he had was definitely not ideal for PvP
