Im not understanding how these 2 skills interact. When im facing teams with 2 protesters it seems like my attacks bounce between them almost randomly but when i try the same strategy it doesnt work the way it should?
Scenario: my Leoronix is on the field then shurikaizer uses his stunt double to place a rockoid on the field, i use protect team with Leo but every single attack hits only my Leo and avoids the rockoid all together. Shouldnt the attacks sometimes hit the rockoid?
To understand the differences I need to clarify the level of protection beginning with the highest:
100% chance Protect teammates = auto protect plus (aegisdragon and diamonoids) > auto protect > taunt ( I dont know exactly the probability of blocking. Might be as well the same as auto protectors. As far as I remember around 60%)
So basically if you have two auto protectors you can actually not select which one you can attack since there is rng between those. If you try to attack a non protector there is a small probability to go trought both auto protectors. If there is an auto protect plus like aegisdragon it will block always the attack before an auto protectors takes the action
In your example leo always blocks the attacks since he is using a 100% protect move. A rockoid is an auto protector and will only block with a chance after leo died
