The version notes (2025)
2025
Version 2.54 (January 2025)
New “Trainer Rankings” section:
Ticket balance added to community section:
(Not noted below)
- You can now refill your tickets in the community section of the online section, rather than only when entering a new battle and you don’t have enough tickets (see above). You can also view your nectar inventory either here or by clicking on your tickets.
- All monsters in the PvP “test your team” battle are now +9 bonus.
- The Van Sith change to gaslight isn’t clear, but it means if the move gets redirected to a protector then it will replace the protector with a Soulantern rather than the move failing.
- The Astrajlyth speed increase is 1.5x per death (not +50%) and caps at 100% speed (~30s entry).
Valentine's Day (February 14th)
Version 2.55 (February 2025)
New filters:
(Not noted below)
- Fixed a bug with Dreadmoth’s thunderseal not dealing critical damage when targeting monsters it should critical.
- Changed the icons for Redybug and Goldoise to put their red/gold shell behind the head, presumably to make it clearer which is which because Goldoise is about to be released as a separate monster.
- Mistletorment’s knockback was 160TU and skyfall is 200TU, so there is a TU increase for the benefit of getting overwatch. Both are faster than the standard 250TU.
Version 2.56 (April 2025)
(Not noted below)
- The reasoning behind dual types for waifu is to allow for typal synergy and design. Humanoid has now been made exclusive to waifu. You can read about it here: Should waifu get dual monster types?
- Various bugs were introduced with the addition of dual types, predominantly moves and passives that care about types still triggering when they shouldn’t or not triggering correctly.
- Reincarnation was changed because Nephthys was about to be released, the second monster in the game with this passive (first was Aurodragon).
Version 2.56.2 (April 2025)
(Not noted below)
- Enrage teammates was changed to weaken combos that involve enraging a monster that has a defence buff so gets enormous attack and can repeatedly piercing one-shot all enemies when used alongside rescuing give turn (50TU).
9.5th anniversary (April 22nd)
Half Anniversary Festival eggs details
We got 12 half anniversary festival eggs, each with four legendaries (rather than two as is usual) and every mythic hatched will be the featured one. Note this is different to anniversary eggs! This is basically a better chance of getting the mythic you want, whereas an anniversary egg is effectively doubling the number of mythics by putting one guaranteed in every 10th pack.
Two of the half anniversary eggs had new a new mythic and legendary in. The other featured mythics were some of the oldest mythics that are not yet in the standard pool (except for Prixis and Coretta).
All half anniversary festival eggs
These are the 12 anniversary festival eggs. The eggs with new monsters lasted over a week but the others were the usual 7 days long. This means there was some overlap between many of these eggs as they came out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays over the 12 days (Friday - Wednesday) but the earlier ones ended before the later ones started. Even the egg featuring the new monsters at the start ended before the last options arrived.
Guaranteed mythic stellar ticket eggs
These are separated by year release, with it featuring every mythic that’s not in the standard pool or shop-only.

Gem sales
We got a normal single-time double gems sale (not imaged). We also got one-time deals in the “limited sale” shop added this year.
Version 2.57 (May 2025)
Newcomer login bonus:
(Not noted below)
- Fixed a bug with purifying drop and purifying rain where they were healing twice, resulting in them healing by double the amount they were meant to.
- The super epics changed here are mostly the standard 400s megabomb ones.
Version 2.58 (July 2025)
(Not noted below)
- Changed the description text of the hold ground passive to better explain how it interacts with other game mechanics.
- Added battle icons for upcoming sigils and target curse.
- Added the recent waifu to the SFW filter.
- The “counter on the reward box” was not updating after PvP matches, so that’s where it was fixed.
- The healing amount increase on Mechangelion’s purifying rain was roughly 25%.
- Zarathul’s marked revival condition was itself needing to be marked, now it’s anything on the battlefield.
- The Moogong “buff” was made as a nerf to Leira so when it’s created it’s immediately blocking.
Version 2.59 (July 2025)
(Not noted below)
- Fixed the broken attack animations for: Lavaronix, Oniblade, Noxdragon, Nebelronix and Doomengine. They were not animating at all.
- Nephthys added to the SFW filter.
- Poisomoth’s double poison eater was left at 130TU.
- The new standard for double poison eater is 160TU with link and solo at 130TU. Some lower star monsters have 160TU for link/solo. Previously there were a few monsters with 130TU double poison eater while others with 200TU.
Summer sales (August 15th)
This was basically some shop deals and guaranteed mythic eggs with stellar tickets. The mythics for the pools were all the shadow and water limited mythics.
Version 2.60 (August 2025)
(Not noted below)
- Removed the pop-up of “reward has been sent to inbox” after collecting each login reward to make it faster and more seamless collecting the multiple login rewards we now have each day.
- Updated the visual on the daily login page for what’s been claimed to be aligned with the “claimed” visual on similar screens (rather than the crossed out visual we had many years ago and was the norm when this daily login was added).
- While fixing Cycletta’s AI, unfortunately Cyclophina’s AI became broken in the same way where it will not use even onslaught of that’s the only move it can use unless it is on low HP.
Version 2.60.1 (August 2025)
- Fixed a ridiculous bug introduced in version 2.60 where many healing effects instead made the monster instantly die.
Version 2.61 (September 2025)
(Not noted below)
- Added the recently released monsters to Monster Bond Quest.
- Most of the SEs changed here are the ones which previously had sleep all, accelerate team and basic damage moves with relatively low speed.
- Ouroburn getting lava entrance+ is not a typo, the monster has the passive twice over.
10th anniversary (October 22nd)
Anniversary Festival eggs details
We got 12 anniversary festival eggs, each with every 10th pack guaranteed mythic. Two of which had new a new mythic and legendary in. The other featured mythics were all originally 1.5+ years before this anniversary.
Guaranteed mythic paid egg
These are separated by element, with it featuring every mythic that’s not in the standard pool or shop-only. They are for a stellar ticket and can be done multiple times (limited by the number of stellar tickets you can buy).
Sorry but I forgot to screenshot these!
All anniversary festival eggs
These are the 12 anniversary festival eggs. The eggs with new monsters lasted over a week but the others were the usual 7 days long. This means there was some overlap between many of these eggs as they came out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays over the 12 days (Friday - Wednesday) but the earlier ones ended before the later ones started. Even the egg featuring the new monsters at the start ended before the last options arrived.
Note also that all featured mythics were originally released 1.5+ years before this anniversary.
Gem sales
We got the usual 12 days of double gems sales, but also one-time deals in the “limited sale” shop added this year.
Version 2.62 (October 2025)
(Not noted below)
- Gandalfrog got Load Ally → Load Ally+ (also applies a shield if they are a mortar monster).
- The damage on Eonarx’s Earthquake secret skill no longer gets increased by the damage increasing passive (later noted as a bug).
- Changed the AI to more frequently use poison sting on the monsters which have this move, since it now does critical damage by default after a recent update.
- Dragon lottery now also copies the user’s bonus, HP boost and bond.
- Dolphin bond now gets the buff from all “dolphin” monsters, so not just the 6 elemental legendary dolphin cycle… it also counts Padrinorca, Christine and any other dolphins.
- The “skills text refinement” was a major overhaul of how all skills and passives are worded to use fewer words to describe them. In most cases they now make more sense than they did before but they also use terms that require a bit more thought to understand. This makes the game cleaner and hopefully does not cause any confusion for people.
- The monster balance changes generally remove a lot of restrictions that were placed on monsters/mechanics that are now safe to remove because power creep and generally the strength of mythics mean these monsters will still be fine after they have got their restrictions removed. E.g. the dolphin change is re-adding the attack/defence buffs on them that were taken away years ago.
- Six trials EX was added in this update. It’s tied to the anniversary but I put it here instead.
Version 2.63 (December 2025)
Not noted below:
- Ultra-Evolve Quest improvements:
- Silver mines: Added 3 battles to the dungeon itself which give either 10k, 20k or 30k silver (higher chance of lower amount).
- Mouths of Truth: Added a chance for any of the elemental 6* mouths to show up in the final dungeon (no longer just water one).
- Pyramids: Added a chance for Omegamid to show up (Cryptamid is still there too).
- All: Removed the UI borders when you go into the level selection screens.
- Introduced a number of bugs, fixed in an emergency update right after (2.63.1).
- In the final page of these notes it mentions bugs related to monsters getting a turn via “skill effects”. What it means is when a stun converter gets a turn from being stunned or if a teammate uses give turn to them. These “extra turns” were not having some of the effects occur on them.
- Added the anniversary mythics to the SFW filter.
- Added clothes onto Kasumi’s extremely naked and suggestive “fan service” form if you have the SFW filter applied.
- Changed the monster reward for the Six Trials EX event to be claimed on a separate page rather than from finishing the battle, due to people having connection problems not receiving the monster properly and subsequently also being locked out of playing the later battles.
Version 2.64 (December 2025)
Not noted below:
- Added a monster style system where you can obtain different artwork variants of monsters in the shop if you already have the corresponding monster. This is basically like a skin system but a little more fleshed out and will likely mostly be for the NSFW waifu to have properly clothed variants.
- Sweep options are only available for players Hero Rank 50+.
- Sweeping an ingredients mission skips any extra battles in the dungeon (and therefore extra silver etc.) plus gives no training points.
- Gorgodrake has different colour artworks depending on its chance to die on attack (see below).
- The +1% speed on Iridescezarc appears odd but is to make it harder to use with Mortilys and is likely related to an upcoming Mortilys change that didn’t make it into this update.
- The second form nerfs are ones that should have been done many years ago but were always overlooked until good community suggestions that happened recently.
