The version notes (2025)
2025
Version 2.54 (January 2025)
New “Trainer Rankings” section:
Ticket balance added to community section:
(Not noted below)
- You can now refill your tickets in the community section of the online section, rather than only when entering a new battle and you don’t have enough tickets (see above). You can also view your nectar inventory either here or by clicking on your tickets.
- All monsters in the PvP “test your team” battle are now +9 bonus.
- The Van Sith change to gaslight isn’t clear, but it means if the move gets redirected to a protector then it will replace the protector with a Soulantern rather than the move failing.
- The Astrajlyth speed increase is 1.5x per death (not +50%) and caps at 100% speed (~30s entry).
Valentine's Day (February 14th)
Version 2.55 (February 2025)
New filters:
(Not noted below)
- Fixed a bug with Dreadmoth’s thunderseal not dealing critical damage when targeting monsters it should critical.
- Changed the icons for Redybug and Goldoise to put their red/gold shell behind the head, presumably to make it clearer which is which because Goldoise is about to be released as a separate monster.
- Mistletorment’s knockback was 160TU and skyfall is 200TU, so there is a TU increase for the benefit of getting overwatch. Both are faster than the standard 250TU.
Version 2.56 (April 2025)
(Not noted below)
- The reasoning behind dual types for waifu is to allow for typal synergy and design. Humanoid has now been made exclusive to waifu. You can read about it here: Should waifu get dual monster types?
- Various bugs were introduced with the addition of dual types, predominantly moves and passives that care about types still triggering when they shouldn’t or not triggering correctly.
- Reincarnation was changed because Nephthys was about to be released, the second monster in the game with this passive (first was Aurodragon).
