Is the game being left for dead?

Every other team I meet now on PVP is a stun team. Getting tired of not being able to build a team to counter top teams because I have to stuff my team with stun protection.
This is completely unacceptable. Is this game now being run by children who can’t identify problems and fix them?
I’ll give you a list in case you are too busy designing waifus to actually experience what the game play is like in your own game.

-Stun is out of control and Bastia made it worse.

-Soral is broken, you can’t have a monster charged for dual bloodfury in 50 seconds and also have immunity against damage, camouflage and only at a cost of 16. Chrono has a cost of 17 and offers infinitely less.

-Prixis is broken, too fast for a break move and no direct weaknesses for frontline user, every monster should have some sort of weakness or counters and I don’t mean one single monster that can counter it.

-Nyx is not much of a problem until its next egg comes out, but when more people get it it will make the game a lot less fun to play.

-Unicera got a lot more viable after the buff but still need some love as it can quickly become dead weight, which should never be the case on a Mythical monster. Since a blood move might be too much, how about some sort of sacrificial support move?

-Cost for Diamonoid is too low.

-Vixenblade is too easy too charge and very hard to stop once it gets going, it needs to be looked at.

-Doomgoo paired with stun is just ridiculously op, although this is more of a stun problem than the actual monster, but it made stun a lot more absusable.

-Azmodia is too fast with instant poison, together with the rest of poison endgame setup (read Scorpiogeist and Deathgeizer is just too much.

-Lillithia buff was uncalled for and will create a broken mechanic once it gets more available.

-Maeve with instant shield all also is very OP, it should either need a 50 or 100 TU trigger or it should cost 100/120 TU.

I feel the list could go on, but maybe other players can add something or disagree with my points. I just think it’s possible to create a better PVP experience for everyone.

Who are u?
I didn’t knew there are some people in this community who are actually genius. The way you address all the problem u won my heart. Literally each and every point is valid but u r in wrong place to argue. No one will listen to u but still I believe u did amazing job.Tq.
May the concerned authority look into the matter asap if they really want to make game balanced.

You are definitely right, the developers know all that perfectly, they know the potential of the monsters better than anyone. But nothing happens. Most of the players in this community are p2w and use those monsters so you probably won’t have many answers in this thread. But friend, nothing is going to happen, just keep working to face everything you have described and enjoy the game. The devs have already done enough to help us, they gave us the sanctuary for example,Although it is true that it gave a little air to p2w but it helped us all.

I am not against p2w but at least maintain balance. Even with mons balance p2w will still be strong as they were before.

Believe me, nothing will happen, because at the end of the day they are the ones who hold the game. Before I used to come to the forum and talk about this and that, and the things that worry me, but since I see that in the end nothing happens, I don’t waste my time on that, I enter from time to time and that’s it.At the end of the day, the developers who own the game and those who can maintain the balance do nothing, I use my time better, for example feeding my fighting fish.

I fully agree with you bro , you are on point :
Prixis just can be countered with Mai , I think it’s the only but let’s be real just 1% of player own her awakened
Also Kanna : this one side field passive it’s too much
Sakuralisk : nobody here talks about it , but every single pvp it feels like the passive is 80% .
Maeve : instant proteccion makes no sense, since she is fast super high armor, high damage and focus
For me there are more problems for sleep than for stun , the community just hate stun ( I was a previous full stun user ) not anymore since the last nerf becomes less reliable for top spot goals (25)
In the other hand there’s a lot of player in the top spots using fully sleep monster , the main trouble of all this strats it’s the trash monster that are coming up . And the true , if we want a balanced game we need to get competitive legendaries, that works for p2w and f2p . Most of p2w nowadays just run a stupid blue star conglomerate (not all) and still manage to win maybe 60% or more

I agree that sleep is quite problematic in top PVP and of course, I forgot about Kanna on my original post. Her passive should be at the very least two sided, but for me both Bastia and Kanna passives should not exist, it disrupts the other team’s strategies with zero effort and basically zero drawbacks. Even with Bastia that works both ways, you can just build your team around her without entrances, so only the enemy loses.

Totally agree on this , most of leg nowadays are useless against the new broken mythics

Also, I’m 95% F2P, but I spent money when there was a guaranteed Mythic for 10 or 20 paid gems (something like £7.99), don’t remember exactly when was the last time, but why not have one of those a month? I believe most F2P players would start spending more when the price is affordable and there is a guarantee of getting a monster. It won’t break the game in the least (if anything it would make it even more competitive) and it will generate a whole new influx of cash that would not happen otherwise.

Also, think of other ways of generating money rather than gems for monsters (something like skins in CS that don’t alter the performance of the player) the game is shifting too much into power creeping rare monsters that will keep pushing new players (and obviously new streams of revenue) away.

In times of financial crisis you have to start offering bang for buck or most people won’t spend their hard earned cash.

Wow 6 years ago! Welcome back!

When I first saw your post I thought it was going to be a bit ridiculous when I saw the amount of monsters you mention, but reading it bit by bit, I see where you’re coming from and you make some valid points.

The problem is, the game has always survived based on a power creep. The devs release a problem and then sell a solution, in a never ending cycle.

I said on another thread though, things feel different at the moment. From a gameplay perspective it feels a bit too P2W and I think that’s a result of the boosted or higher stats on Monsters.

Previously even if your opponent had better monster skills, you could still outsmart them with better team building and decision making. Nowadays, when your attack hits something and the monster tanks it with ease, it just feels like whoever has the highest stats wins.

Thanks man.
I was here from the start then stepped away for a few years and missed the whole introduction of Mythics so you can imagine my shock when I came back and started seeing my team get completely destroyed by the new monsters.
Luckily with the introduction of the achievements, I was given a bunch of gems for having completed some of the challenges and the shrine was the best thing the devs implemented in the game since its release. I would not be playing if it wasn’t for that - and I believe a lot of other players would agree with me.

At this point I feel like the devs need to step in and get things back on track before more people quit the game.

I understand the importance of revenue but it just feels like the whole gambling aspect is so outdated now and most people just can’t afford to spend their money and risk getting nothing in return.
There’s a huge potential for capitalising in ways that engage more players, don’t break the bank, don’t rely on constantly creating new monsters and more importantly, keep a level playing field. I just don’t understand why devs can’t see that and insist on the same formula of nearly 10 years ago.
