I’m sure someone will come up with a better way to compress and decompress… stuff.
In all honesty phone games were designed for that bit of freetime on the train/ bus or on the toilet. Whereas console games were designed for that spare time at night or all day if your jobless.
Nintendo DS and related ones could fit the same train/bus/toilet description, right?
I mean, given they’re both handheld devices. But the designers of DS games didn’t see it that way like the iOS game designers do.
Perhaps it’s time for a change of perspective.
Yes, When I was little, and didn’t have a iPod, I had a ds. The original one. It was pretty new, but I carried that thing everywhere. I took it when we were going to the store and played it during the 5 minute drive. Sometimes, I even took it in the store and sat down on the shopping cart seat things and played it. I was in love with it. I even took it with me to the bathroom xD but the moral of the story is, that I now carry my ipod around the same way I used to with my ds. They aren’t really different in that sense. I think that the ds and iPod both are portable and you can put them in your pocket and backpack or purse or whatever when you aren’t using them. They are both light, portable, and can be played anywhere.
Lol, good disctinction, Templarzx. At least the gamers’ attitude seems to back it up - people scoff at mobile gamers for being too ‘casual’, that is, basically not putting enough time and effort into it. Even though many of mobile games require skill too. I mean… I, myself, mostly play fun morbid stuff like Finger Killer to kill time and don’t care if anyone think I’m a poser, but there are more dedicated people and they deserve recognition.
Don’t necro threads
