Introduce additional mode

In many events we have 3 levels of modes, Expert, Master, and Extreme.  Many folks on forums are talking they want more challenge.

Well Dev, I have joined this game for more than a month and I am unable to complete Extreme difficulty challenges or even acquire monster at LV 40 dungeon.  So I don’t need any harder mode REPLACING this one.  If you want to introduce, please add instead of replacing.

I am already missing on many rewards because of it and I hope you understand both new players and veterans situation.

Sincerely,

I think the Devs are well aware about the challenge faced by newer players in these difficulties. One of the key rewards in my mind is the Omegamid which is currently given out for Extreme lvl 2 in the SCB each week. Practically every legendary needs this ingredient so it’s crucial that newer players can beat this mission while they have no more than one or two evolved legendaries.

I joined the game about 16 months ago and back then I think the SCB was quite a bit easier. It took me a while before I could beat extreme difficulty but I was never stuck at a point where I had many legends to evolve and no Omegamids. Although, saying that, fewer gems were given out so getting legendaries was slower.

The point I’m trying to make is that I too agree Omegamids and similar rewards should still be achievable for the relevant players and any power creep should be carefully controlled. For example, it may be better to put the Omegamid reward for lvl 1 of Extreme difficulty if newer players aren’t being able to do lvl 2 when they should be. I hope if any mistake in the design change crops up which screws up new players that everyone notices and speaks out against it.

In general I trust this community and the Devs, you’re in safe hands

For real. Omegamid is hard to get and people who ammassed their first bout of legendaries from festivals cannot evolve in a reasonable amount of time. I have 5 legendaries unevolved because of this.

I have 9 legendary unevolved becuae is this :stuck_out_tongue:

I came back to this game after 1 year or so. I remember how easy and fun it was to beat everything but now it’s not even fun since we need specific legends to beat it… and that too evolved version.
Edit: i started again since i lost my code from before haha

Oh no. . . You have to use your brain to beat stuff now??

Heaven forbid. . .

The guy probably quit after gazer was nerfed

There is still a valid point here. You need omegamids to evolve legendaries and you need to evolve legendaries to get omegamids.
Aka it’s worth making omegamids more accessible

But aren’t omegamids easily accessible already, what with the power up event?

Once a month.

There are 2 roads as i see it:

  1. Your f2p, playing slow, getting small amount of legenderies while you learn the mechanics well and getting to know how to play your set of monsters. Thats way, you get all the ingrindments you need.

  2. You pay alot for gems, getting way to legends then you can handle, hardly know how to use them yet,nor the mechanics of the game. You will get more firepower then you can handle, which will help you get the ingridments you need but not that much, and thats because:
    A. You still doesnt have savings (f2p tend to get more ingrindments then they need, so the build up a BIG stock for later legends to come).
    B. Lack of knowlage.
    C. Not enough events the give those.

(This is about new players. Not saying to to buy gems, but keep it steady)

Edit: woah, lot of typos because of fast typing. The massage is clear tho

I totally agree TNB iSegal. If people buy a load of gems right at the start they’re going to be waiting on ingredients for quite a while. And if they can’t learn the mechanics to beat the content and get the ingredients… well that’s inexcusable.

For some reason I thought the rank up event came every two months. Every month really isn’t too bad! So, in theory, if you only need a couple of evolved legendaries to beat lvl 2 extreme SCB then everyone should be able to give it a good stab after a couple of months. After they’re able to beat it they should have no real trouble with most ingredients. In reality I’d say about 3 months playing before beating SCB which is perfectly reasonable in my opinion.

The only real issue here is the potential for newer players to be “locked out” from Omegamids for too long. But if the rank up quest comes every month and events like the Whale Treasure one right now give them an easy Omegamid there isn’t much issue with the one in SCB being hard to get. With the rate new, free players get legendaries they probably don’t even need to beat SCB for a long time so the question is to keep the Omegamid from SCB easy enough for spending players to get after a few months playing.
