Ideas for DEVS

First let me say that I LOVE this game is almost perfect in every single way. The reason I make this post is because I love it soo much and i care about it.

My only concern and i can not belive i say this is that the game does not make enough profit. (Crazy right?)

I love the game and i even bought some gems just to support the devs and the game itself. I just hope that this game will be profitable up and running for a verry long time.

In my opinion the game have 2 big problems.

No. 1 Population. Even if i love as a new player (2 months) to reache top 200-300 i think that the devs should focus on promoting this amazing game. More population means more people to support the game more diverse teams and faster matching in pvp.

Ideas for this problem.

Hire, Promote, Encourage people to do youtube videos to promote the game.

Get in touch with social media like FB, Insta, Twitter etc. Give players a small reward to post a game ad on theyr social media accounts. Like 1 gem or some tikets or whatever you think is good enoguh. Just give them something to promote the game and this should bring more people.

Use tiktok, Google and/or Fb adds it is an investment but it will bring new people wich means more revenue.

No. 2 People are not encouraged to spend money on the game.
We have just a few packs and they are not soo worth it.
I want to invest more money in the game but
i don`t really feel like it is worth it.
In neo you are a wale wich invests 1000+$ or you do not invest.
I honestly think that 10$ from every player is way better than 1000$ form 10 players

Ideas for this problem

Make more packs with paid gems
You have the first time 20 paid gems guarated myth why you do not make more like this?

Also think about legs like Nova wich everyone is looking for why you dont make a deal like 10-20 paid gems for guaranted Nova (or another S+ leg) I would invest money in this kind of deals and a lot of players who are looking for this legs would do also this way you will make players who do not wanna invest too much buy some gems and will not break the game and the high spenders will not even notice it because they most likely already have them +9

Also i seen that you have a verry dedicated comunity did you consider the ideea of making more myths and legs with the help of the comunity in order to release them more often and give the high spenders more monsters to catch and more reasons to invest.
Try to be in touch with the comunity. This is the most important aspect for any dev team

Everything i said are just ideas and I understand if your company have other plans for the game
All I am asking you is to continue this amazing game and keep it up for as long as possible

Firstly I want to say, I like that you’re dedicated to write such a detailed post.

To tell the truth, paid games are usually not the most profitable games for the developer.

As far as I think, the players who pay for a game lay inbetween 3 and 4%. Not in Neo Monsters, but in general. That also means, you’ll have 96+% players who are not willing to pay for a game, or who cannot pay due to age or country restrictions.

I guess in Neo Monsters, which is free every month for a week, the developers did a very clever job in keeping the game F2P attractive with still giving people who are willing to pay reasons to do so. The guaranteed mythic offer in the beginning, the two new permanent mythic guaranteed banners are good investments for the beginning. Then the tricky descriptions are surely fooling a lot of new players.

After all, the big spenders are usually advanced players who want to stay ready for the competition.

But I believe that the trick to get new players is to make the game look like PokĂ©mon, which isn’t the case at all. New players give up quickly due to the games beginning at the map, believing that’s the game. A lot of people friend me at a low hero rank and stop playing quite quickly.

Look into the charts of the most popular paid games, Neo Monsters is kind of high there. Why? Because of the free week every month I guess.

You need both people, paying and free, what you can do is, tell your friends, they will join and you have a good subject to talk strategies, what monsters you got, it’s fun. Because of me, 7 more people play this game, and I’m F2P, but 3 friends who play because of me are not F2P. And the other 3 are minors and one adult.

The two guaranteed mythics are also a clever choice, they are both not overpowered, but very useful. Look at Novematrona, perfect fire supporter monster for many fire monsters in the beginning of the game (and later on still useful), also for 5* monsters like Igniscapra or if you got a strong fire legend / mythic already. Then Flakedrake, in the beginning of the game, just dump him wherever you want, he’ll always work, every team, no strategy or specific monster required to make him work. And he just looks so cool.

Take care

There’s an issue with making S tier monsters too easily accessible: they’re inevitably going to appear in the vast majority of PvP teams, because of their top-tier status.

This has already happened in the past: monsters like Dusicyon and Flocculasaurus, two S tier monsters easily accessible through 6★ tickets, were CONSTANTLY getting 1st and 2nd place in the Most Used category in PvP.
This sparked complaints from a good chunk playerbase, which ultimately lead the Devs to severely rebalancing both monsters. Dusicyon got repurposed as a well-performing, support-oriented monster, but Flocculasaurus got heavily demoted.

Obviously, as it was to be expected, some people complained, because the monsters they had spent precious tickets on had been ruined. Now, imagine if something similar was to happen with monsters that people PAID for: I would imagine the reaction would be even more vehement.

I think that the rate they’re releasing monsters right now is pretty fine. I wouldn’t want them to rush things, especially on the moveset side. The more monsters you create the more possible “broken” combinations can appear. But I certainly wouldn’t complain if they manage to speed up the process while keeping the quality up :relieved::pray:

That isn’t the gacha buisness model. To oversimplify, they focus on getting more whales because players that spend hundreds of dollars monthly are more likely to have a strong financial safety net, and so will continue to spend money so long as there is new content. Lower spenders with less financial stability are more likely to stop spending even $10 a month if money gets tight, so Gacha games focus on whales

I totally agree with what you said, and most Gatcha games work exactly this way, sometimes so extreme that various countries even took in Gatcha laws to prevent abuse, but as SuperCell demonstrated, the way with the monthly pass also works very well. But like said, then you might loose your big spenders/whales if there is no reason to do so. The monthly pass only works if your game is at the top of the list, and that can very quickly change. So better stay on the safe side and keep the business model mostly untouched.

The lets come back to the other problem. Why they do not try to gather more whales. With YouTube tiktoak fb insta and other social promote

Almost every gatch has an share the game get a reward system

Again. I hate pay 2 win games but i honestly love this game and i want it to prosper.

I just feel bad for the devs becaise the game is that good that it deserve more coverage.

Just kill evertale and bring all the resources back to Neo @Developer

What you said is unfortunately true, but is inevitable that this create a big hole between F2P and P2W players.
Neo is actually pretty balanced in that sense but as I always said takes 10 P2W to play seriously in PvP to get out of top 10 rest of players.
Still remember that Cancer guy coming from nowhere, just putting together a mythic spam merging the strategies that other players used, making a broken team and winning.
On that model every P2W can potentially knock off the top spots.

While we’re here, a refer a friend scheme would be awesome. They start the game, input the friend code of the person who referred them, once they hit a certain hero rank, the gems go to the player who referred them. Hero rank stops new account abuse

Love you♄

Wait wait, let’s aim higher. 90% of the gems will go to the player who referred them, while you will take a 10% royalty for having come up with the idea :relieved:

Some time ago I said that it was necessary that there be a direct link from the game to content creators since these can help a player a lot, as well as granting creator accounts without monster limitations and things like that to the main creators so that they can make a best content, as well as agreeing through a group the relevant information that they would like the creators to explain (new things to be implemented or operations for example) other games use these groups with their content creators

like this login paid per season would also be helpful

Love the ideea of an battlepass and you can even make if f2p frendly like you can buy it with x amount of silver (a 10-20 day worth of tickets for example) or make it only pay to get but it would give me a boost to invest in neo
