Speed only determines when an ark enters a battle. TU is way more important…

I think they mean, when your battery dies out, it doesn’t cause a loss.

in my opinion, if someone disconnects either intentionally or unintentionally, there should be a new disconnect screen that says “Your opponent has disconnected” and it doesn’t award you, penalize you, or ruin your streak.

The battery thing is a real issue. I’ve tested it a bit more than was probably necessary, but I wanted to make sure.

If you have “low” battery, e.g. < 20% power left, the defeated bug seems to happen exponentially more than when you don’t (when I had the low power, it happened at least 10x more often than it does with more power).

Other things that assist in causing the defeated bug are things that interrupt your connection, even if for a fraction of a second, e.g. text messages, other app notifications that require a physical dismissal, when the low power thing comes up, etc. More often than not would I get the defeated bug when these things happened.

Now if your device actually dies, on the other hand, it’s a simple ‘disconnection’ for which you receive no loss.

Oh, I didn’t know that. I thought you actually received a win/loss screen.

But, it’s good to see that you found (one of?) the factors in causing the defeated bug.
