Save up your gems and only buy festival eggs.
All my mythics and legendaries come from festival eggs and rare gold egg.
Special eggs are good but have only 4% of legandary spawns and 1% mythic so RNG can get terrible

There is one way of getting mythic but you need to have a lot of patience to follow this process :-

  1. Save your gems until you have 500 gems
  2. Hatch all those eggs only in a festival egg
  3. There is a 64.41% chance that you will get one mythic
    (Note- all those calculations are based on probability)

so try at your own risk

But I am pretty sure you will get a mythic
