From my perception of the 2000 counter, I believe that going to a town doesn’t restart the chain and the only way to restart said chain is to find the rare from whatever tile that is. So if you go to 1st tile north of orlen, do 300 battles then go to 2nd tile the counter will stop at 300 for the first tile and a new one will start for 2nd. Hope I made sense here lol (y)
Ryan, I heard that the counter restarts once u see a rare ark. Like if u did 500 battles on one spot and saw nothing then moved to the next u would still have the 500 battle to ur counter. I don’t know which is true though 
I don’t think that’s true just purely based on experience…
Trying to find starters, I kept switching spots, I then found 3 in about 100 battles. Odds on that are very slim, so based on that I think each tile has it’s own counter 
hopefully an admin can clarify
I made a new file and found a brakie on my first battle, caught it with the cheap card for 100% with full health.
I think you are purposefully trying to get people jealous here

I deleted the file anyways because my starter was a soltusk thing 
I make files and immediately buy a gold egg and if I win a gold ark(9*+) I keep going through the game.
