Not sure if this has ever been talked about before but I’d like to hear some opinions and thoughts. What do you guys prefer, assisted front lines, sleep front lines, poison front lines etc? And why?
Me personally, like a sleep front line, I have Soulstealer, Oniblade, Shadowhunter, and Stormloch. I think it’s dominant when Soulstealer can put sleep 2 or 3 monsters and it sets it up for the other 3.
I am going with a shadowyrm, warca, armavolt, oroblazer frontline. I was doing assisted water but without cryokaiser I realized it was too dependant on warca. When he dies the rest of my team is kind of trash until I reach flarevern. So I swapped for something that is a little less weak to knockback.
Night night still, front line of aegis, lavaronix, nightrider and omegadragon with serapheon at 5th.
Can deal with pretty much any front line, not unbeatable but requires either specific counters via knock back or a little bit of luck.
Also because I go into dolphin and bahamuzar and throw from then on the teams meld really well cause of the give turners.
Im running assisted frontline. What I have also tried and seems to work in some occasions is the “death” frontline as I’ve named my hazardous creation.
Basically consisting of : rhyno, talosknight, omegadragon + a stun revenge mon followed by a twin knockback unwanted friend line into a sleep lineup.
I mostly used a thunder assisted frontline but i also have a frontline with shadowyrm, armavolt, galvabane and luxyrion. I wasnt able to try out my death revenge frontline because tody i had the loading into homescreen problem again. Will try and report about it as soon as possible tho!
Nice, that’s a good lineup. It is also weak against assisted thunder and give turn which is a common occurrence from my experience. Godfeather, zep (team turn), armavolt (absorbs serapheon’s stun) and either a thunder mon or another team turner.
It depends if they run velocirex. If they don’t then omegas can knock back zephy, team turn with lava and then flip >give turn with aegis, give turn with lava, ignoring stun and hold ground.
Again it depends on whether omegas can knock back zephy. Less people seem to be running velocirex nowadays though
Ahhhh velocirex that was the mon i was struggling to remember the name of. Yeah as you said it is conditional on being able to knock back zep but it seems you considered a lot in your lineup.
So what about sleepbomb/sleep all with soulstealer combined with death sentence all? Your lineup is to support nightrider (which i assume would skip turns) so if sleep all hits both lava and aegis then it’s gg for your starting 4. Knock back omegas may not work if the person has a protector mon. This is also a common occurrence.
Against sleep I’ve had a decent record, the times I’ve lost its because one on one left lava awake who can’t do anything, and even though they can’t attack into aegis they can run the death sentence clock down.
Aside from that though aegis basically ruins any sleep strategy, even if they kill it serapheon can come in to purify and still give turn for the double desperate all.
Obviously It’s still gonna suck if everything gets hit by sleep all, but in general aegis followed by serapheon deals with it
I’ve been doing god, zephy, arma and blitz as a front line, then stepping back into velo.
Just feel like assisted thunder is a little easy to counter, and when it does get countered you basically lose 4 monsters. The only real way to counter night night is to knock back or get lucky with the team turner outspeeding omegas (which has happened before mind you, as unlikely as it is)
I’m not using AT at the moment testing out a new team so far not have had any good challenge to see if my team is good or not hopefully I run into someone good so I can test it if it’s bad il go back to AT
I’ve been using assisted holy (holy foaly?) but I encountered a few frontlines with galvabane/ rexo, instantly killing sanctallion. Could put a celestrion there, but I find him too weak.
Now I changed to assisted thunder into assisted holy. If I only could get a bitmore fights connecting, I could really test it.
