I haven’t worked on new guides for quite a while at this point. However, today I became inspired to properly update the egg hatching guide. I recommend you go give it a read to see if it gives you anything to think about how you can better use your gems.

heyhey, touring potential new player here; kudos to the guides youve written out! they do a lot to help leave an impression on what to expect from the game. one question ive been looking to have answered though, is if its worth considering using the occasional niche sub 5 star monster in an overall roster, or if everything below 4 star rarity is effectively never to be looked at under any circumstance. of course, i ask this being well aware its very much so not recommended to try and run some slop monster you encounter early on as an endgame main dps, but i hope you get the idea have a nice day and ty for your efforts once again !

In the tier list there are the “Other notable monsters” sections. This basically covers the main ones that are useful in some way, but you might find some others too.

Generally speaking, they serve a very different function to normal monsters. Often they are a distraction for the enemy or they just give turn to a teammate. You use the for a specific purpose in a team or as cost filler.

So don’t write them all off completely, but the list of usable ones is very short and they’re mostly things like the special rocks (which were specifically designed as playable cheap monsters).
