What approach do you take into these battles? I have what I think is a pretty stacked team but can’t ever beat level 2s or the extreme battles for events

Whenever enemies are buffed, try using strategies where the variables are unchanged. For example they can buff the attack and defence, but enemies susceptibility to sleep and stun remain the same. If you pull this off the enemy can’t hit you for a period of time.
Then you can try to charge moves like bloodthirst and bloodfury and that will help. Also dreamhunt.
Gary’s right, Death revenge is also handy. Also tried monsters with death sentence. When I started I would combine sleep with Death sentence monsters to get 2 kills each and then bloodthirst.
Knockback can also be useful to split the enemy team as well as bronzeshells to help charge your moves and slow the opponent, although this wasn’t as effective as it once was.
If that doesn’t work and you’re still struggling, send me screenshots of your monsters and we’ll come up with a strat together. Try it yourself first though. Good luck

Also if you get lucky with the FL, you can typically stun lock them and crescendo strike them to oblivion.
