Not at all. I frequently complain about decisions they make and even with this update I think it’s silly they changed the TU of non-damage raw skills. Basically everything I write is my own opinion and not something in defence of the Devs so get that out of your head.
I agree that having more good options in the shop would be good. The Devs have been very slow with any changes to the shop after its first release. I expected a lot more there. However, it’s very easy for us all to have high expectations and not appreciate the shop properly when we’re focusing on the best monsters for competitive PvP or we already have practically all the shop monsters (like myself).

Lmaoo
Then every team would look the same. The only real solution would be to put literally every featured legendary in the shop, but that would hurt the collection side of things.
Personally I think the shop should stay PvE / niche PvP only.
That said I still believe what they did to Flocco is fucked up. Poor useless hunk of junk.
I’d like it to be the retirement home for old legendaries, having some unique and interesting monsters added on the side in the way they have been doing with the shiny monsters.
Some of the classic old monsters that are still strong today will be high picks but by the time they’re reaching this retirement home they should be perfectly balanced with the rest of the game. This is what we see with Atrahasis.
I remember @Killerdog’s reaction to the mythics cost decrease, the potions rework and the Roaring Entrance buff. He disapproved all of them, and those are some major ones that came to my mind immediately
U forgot him hating the waifu designs like all of us. What is more important than that.
Haha not only hating, I tried to encourage people to email someone important at ZigZaGame with suggestions for what to write… all in the hope they might reconsider the marketing direction. I hate waifu with a passion
I think I have the same passion
That’s impossible. I think you didn’t understand well my idea. Right now, everyone has Dusi, floccosaurus and icefang cause they were the best 3 monsters on sale, and at the same time, the ones that really worth to gather 12 tickets for in order to improve your PVP team. That’s the opposite of my idea:
If you put more S rank legendaries on sale, let’s say 6 for example, and then you update the shop every 6 months, you are avoiding people to have the same thing in their teams. Remember that it takes 6 months to gather 12 tickets for most of players, so in that period of time they could only buy 1 or 2. Since there are more good options, people will buy different monsters considering what they need (till now, they bought Dusi, Flocco and icefang cause they were the only good options and also, cause Devs haven’t updated that part of the shop since floccosaurus ’ release, many many months ago; that is the reason of monotony)
I guess now you can see what I’m talking about
So what you’re saying is to put an excess of strong PvP monsters as limited-time shop monsters which then maybe don’t reappear for a long time? People would only be able to grab a few of them apart from big spenders who may be able to grab them all?
What you’re describing is almost exactly like what we have going on in eggs. It wouldn’t be as good for the company though because even if they offered deals to buy 6* tickets they won’t make as much money as they would from new monsters released in the gacha.
The reason I said the monsters not repeating for a long time is I think this is your plan. It takes 6 months to save up for one so if they came back too soon (6-12 months) people would simply wait for the “OP one” everyone talks about to return. At some point there will be lots of them cycling in and out though. If they’re all powerful PvP monsters that can be used in most teams then there are bound to be a few key monsters everyone says are the best and everyone tries to pick up. In fact, with so many being released like this the entire rest of the shop is likely to be ignored!
Now you could just release fewer or the plan could be to release them in the shop first then after a few months removed from the shop they get added to eggs. However, why would it be in the interest of the Devs to give people guaranteed rates on new monsters before using the gacha to release them… just makes them less money.
I think it makes a lot more sense to simply design unique or niche legendaries for 6* tickets in the shop, as they have been doing. Some are powerful in the right teams, others just interesting. Flocculasaurus is a great example of what happens when there is a strong PvP monster available to everyone. Increasing the number of them just means we’ll see more of the same monsters in PvP. You’d have to literally flood the shop with strong monsters and all that will do is make power creep skyrocket. If you look at how many S-/S/S+ legendaries we got in 2020 it’s 8, 3 of which actually being shop monsters. 12 a year in the shop would be crazy.
I will love if dusicyon still have leech instead AOE move
I miss that move too, but if I were in charge of the balance I’d give it Shield Self (100/130sec), since after losing Confident Strike and Hold Ground he doesn’t benefit from healing as much as before
I like Duscy better post-update. I just started using him since now you have to actually have teambuilding skills to do so
No no. I know I said S rank legendaries, but of course I don’t want OP monsters there. The point on my suggestion is to have good things to buy in the shop, not OP, not useless or just to pve, but “good things”. If you put 6 “good legendaries” for PVP and change them every 6 months, I think I’d be good for the game. Also, “good legendaries” doesn’t mean “limited ones”. Those would keep coming in eggs. For you to understand me better, monsters at the level tygoron or a first one
