DonT the harassment you often refer to that is targeted at you wasn’t really a big issue until you started writing posts like this…
This is a quote from the Carole Bastia thread. It showed complete ignorance of the game balance in the first year of the game, but stating your point so confidently one could call it arrogantly. You then put in your opinion that money should equal wins (fair enough, we each have personal opinions). However, you then go on to say that free players are basically thinking about the game incorrectly and should accept the game is becoming more P2W and how it’s totally fine, they just need to set themselves lower expectations like getting top 50 rather than top 10 (or just to leave the game). That sounds extremely condescending/rude. You then lumped me in as a F2P complaining about P2W by misquoting a conversation, which is quite a personal attack at me when I am someone who almost never complains about P2W (I’m someone who greatly encourages benefit from spending, only putting my foot down if something really oversteps).
I replied to that post in the thread and won’t go through that, but for anyone who wants to see here it is: Carole Bastia - #110 by Killerdog. One point I made in there was how DonT89 was continually making every issue a P2W vs F2P issue. It’s a bit ridiculous to always do that then moan that people are hating on you for being a paying player.
So if you really don’t want to be targeted with hate and disrespectful things then take a good look at everything you’re writing and set a proper example. You were excessively rude to many free players in the past and would throw around your radical ideas a little too much that it wound people up. Similarly, Katatafish did actions that drew attention onto him (as I went through at the start of this thread).
As I’ve been clear with at the beginning of this thread. I completely agree that being a spender makes you a larger target for hate and that’s a horrible thing. As a moderator and as a moral human being I will do what I can to defend or protect you, just as I would for anyone else getting targeted. But don’t be oblivious to your faults.
