@luc i always said deo doesnt need a nerf even when i didnt have him. Pretty sure everyone has a DD, right? Well that can counters deo just fine. deo is really powerful but he certainly doesnt need a nerf

Okay, how do you propose to make a frontline with a DD that can actually fight everything else?

Not really, Desperate Double or Desperate all doesnt counter Deo.

The problem is not to think about Deo as a lone monster but within a team.

When Deo is paired with Leo it goes like this : Leo Thunder all + Deo Energy and your 4 monsters are dead

Im using a nightrider frontline and it works every time.

Then in your next 4 coming monsters you are very likely to have a stun, this is instant turn for leo.

wait a few more seconds and their TT is ready for team turn, lose a few more monsters.

By then coming back appears pretty hard.

Of course Death Revenge could counter but death revenge is pretty random to be honest…

To be honest the real counter is basically flameroar. Unless they go full kami shadow deo TT a deo charge and one ultra won’t kill it letting you cannibalise and pretty much making their first 2 attacks not count. Provided your TT survives it’s pretty easy to counter from there

desperate double with some potions counters, unless is deo/leo and leo goes after deo, which rather a wierd situation cause everyone has pots on leo, right?. If not zib mecha lava (some times (:v)) counter. Yea, not everyone has them but in my opinion all the ways you can play around deo is what makes me think he doesnt need a nerf

Nope. I have to go with what Zard said, everyone who is asking deo to not be nerfed is just biased. Just accept the fact that Deo is getting a little bit out of hand. Nerf his speed and problem is solved.

Even then, a Deo with a legendary team turner and a give turner (mostly referring to Midas) can wreck havoc.

And with regards to a DD or DA being added, ONE counter doesn’t make Deo OKAY. I’m not about to drop a random DD or DA just for a Deo and chances are there is always a chance that there is a Galvbane or Gallio to STUN the DD or DA. DD and DA can’t do anything other than AOE and Purify if it goes before Deo or even if it’s 2 mons after Deo.

AND, having to put a DD or DA in there JUST to counter Deo ONLY makes it even more OBVIOUS that there is a problem.

DEO definitely need to be nerf…just the fact that it is immune to stun and can instantly clear the entire frontline is lame especially when pair with LEO…Just as LEO got nerf previously…DEO need to be nerf…reduce the speed to 20 developers…And make it subsceptible to stun…

Lib Mecha doesn’t kill stop DEO ESP when paired with Leo. I was running zib with mech and Leo and DEO kills it just fine.

Can anyone quote when i said a DA counters him?, i just said DD.
Julong im not sure how much times leo deo have killed your mecha or zib, but i actually dont see a way of that happening unless they have deo leo Tks.

When there are only 7 or 8 specific monsters that counter another with several of them being limited time and most of them being very specific legendaries and you have to put them in a very specific configuration in order to counter just 1 monster sometthing is very, very, very wrong.

It isn’t as extreme as deathgazer but it is close.

Remove the stun amunity,maybe it will help a bit,he is too OP,having him means you opponent will start the match with 4 less monsters

Anything they had that set up it would kill my team. I honestly hated last PvP match because of DEO in the top PvP.

That’s not going to help. Neither galvbane nor gallio are quick enough for him, and he’s surrounded by TTs and GTs 24/7 anyway. There are 3 ways to fix this as far as I can tell- 1- make quick charge unable to be used for the first 50 seconds of battle, 2- bring the damage back down a little, and 3- lower the speed. Personally I think number 1 is the best course of action, since deo loses his horribly unfair sweep ability, but he’s still just as powerful outside of it.

Stun pulse with throw?maybe a fast time strike monster?

In the PVP with 100 cost I managed to destroy many leg with the two starters combined

well, that’s one super specific and extremely overused combination of monsters that can get rid of deo AFTER he’s blown up half your team. Got any more?

Lower Deo’s speed or make SS useable after the 1st 50 seconds will give Deo another weakness, knockbackers. :3
