Ultrablight will still one shot.
I don’t know why you want to buff him.

The problem apparently is that aoe x2/x3 wipes a fl such that it can immediately proceed to sweep with GTs/TT. For this to work you need a lot of GTs or simply just a TT. I can’t say just use regalion as a counter, since it is the only limited mon with time freeze.
This is a PVE strategy. How people actually lose to this in Pvp baffles me. You can do this with peng as well but it’s not as much of a problem since it doesn’t have dbt. The only common ground mons you see in pvp are stag, geo and oak. Thus, type disadvantage isn’t much of a problem most of the time.
“Delu 2hkos holy mons”. Peng 2hkos water mons (which is more common), but this doesn’t happen often since it is normally used 16th to abuse sba.
Anyway. Ultrablight isn’t necessarily a nerf. It would guarantee 2hkos on most mons, including SE protectors which would have kept it in check before.
So nerf it.
With the rise of raw moves, BB honestly fits perfectly to have a raw bloodthirst move. He’s weak so he’ll be able to do the damage but has no protector so he’ll get killed fast as well. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Nerf! Nerf! Nerf! Nerf!
Zzzzzzzzz. . .
Why you all want to kill yet another monster.
Because all he can ever do is kill.
BB doesnt need a PvP nerf. He can be dealt with easy. Heck i would almost advocate raising his defense since hes pretty much a stunnable glass cannon.
I could see if you wanted to make him less stupid for PvE. I dont really care either way but in PvE hes just stupid.
When you nerf a mon, you nerf it in its entirety. Any change affects it in both pve and pvp.
Why care if it’s good in pve? Pve isn’t competitive apart from UC and using delu in it only takes you so far. Aoe doesn’t even play a role in UC.
Couldn’t agree more. Plus there are so many overpowered things for PvE.
I really don’t get the point of this thread because we’re talking about a monster who has no defensive passives and can’t do anything more than kill one target on its first turn then often only kill one more on the second turn. There’s nothing game-breaking here for PvP which needs nerfing or any ridiculous combo that is reliably overpowered. His speed is good but it’s not even as high as some other monsters like Magmarinus or Zeuswyrm who can both get a double kill on their first turn.
@MonkeyDluffy Sorry to be a downer on your thread but I really can’t see where the argument is here, especially because the nerf suggestion is focused on not letting Delugazar have a hit all move… which is definitely the worst bit of his moveset. Switching it to a single-hitting attack arguably won’t even nerf the monster.
As a player that doesn’t have Delugazer, and as somebody that faced a team that is built around him better than most teams. I must say I DON’T want him nerfed. Most of the time he dies like a sack of potatoes before doing major damage. When he is in a team with Aegis and Midas supporting him along with in-coming auto protectors/turn givers I can’t do anything, and his AOE is tough. But I think it’s still fair because such players worked very hard for their teams. Probably spent big $$ as well.
Also at present it’s very satisfying killing him. If he is nerfed the trophy is gone…
I love Delugazer keep him the way he is. To bad if I never get him.
chronzeros was nerfed because of his(high speed one shoot potential)
then they introduce gyo, delugazar high speed one shoot potential + bypass holding ground.not to mention magma high speed one shoot potential even against water type monsters.
Ya but we had to spend to get those.
Come on man. We cant have a free OP monster that everyone has access to. You gotta spend for a 50-50 chance to draw an amazing monster (BB, Magma, Malwing, Angelion to an extent) or a monster (Moji, Skele, Ankou, Fluffball). Granted they have slightly buffed those last 4 but they still dont have the same impact as the more powerful, and still dont see as widespread use.
The thought of everyone being able to grind to an OP monster is absurd. Gotta drop those $$$$$.
That’s taking things out of context a bit and simplifying it.
Talking about the past… Chronozeros has stun immunity, so couldn’t be stunned before it got a turn. All sleep and knockback monsters are slow speed, so couldn’t do anything to him either (except OoO). Every sweeper needed to be set up first, putting it behind Chronozeros. Hence in the front line Chronozeros gave an almost guaranteed free kill.
Then comes the issue of comparison. The Chronozeros issue was only about the front line, which means monsters like Magma don’t compare. Also, faststrike could kill any enemy monster (especially before the damage nerf), rather than things like TKs, Delugazar or other high speed monsters with moves that can kill on their first turn.
Chronozeros was incredibly dominant in the front line because there was no way to punish him at the time he got released. Almost everyone was using him, it got dull rolling the dice to see who’s got the turn first and did faststrike on the opponent’s Chronozeros. All these OP monsters today have ways of handling them by using other monsters. Gyomurai is one of the toughest to counter because it has sleep and poison immunity plus link slayerbane all that can kill your whole team if you choose to kill something else before Gyomurai’s first turn. However, it can still be stunned as well as a couple of hits taking it below 70% health being a way to avoid that overconfident strike on its first turn.
The only true comparison is Tygoron, because both have faststrike and Tygoron even has an upgraded version of stun immunity! Tygoron is no doubt better than Chronozeros was even when Zeros first came out. However, other monsters can handle these kinds of things better and Tygoron does have weakness to both stun killer and chrono killer.
Back in zeros terror days there weren’t many options to stop it easily. All these new ones are though
We should re-buff chrono’s speed.
I think to 40% sounds reasonable. He’s in the top 10 slowest I think with balancion and tort
We have a 80%+ faststriker in the game and people keep quite… zib + cele 5th (if thats its name) is a free kill at a much higher speed then chrono’s past or tygo. And dont sell me the link excuse because come on… link water is so common now days in both SE and legendary sections. The only reason people not complaining about it is because not alot of people have it, but its 1 of the strongest monsters out there
The link restriction for water is hardly a restriction anymore. That element now has 3 incredible sweepers, absorbers and protectors. I wouls argue that link requirement on a water type might even be a boost lol.
You’ve got to have link plus cannibalise into it… a bit restrictive but yeah a fair point for sure. It’s stuff like that which show how strong things can be now with the right monsters and careful team building.
I would totally back a speed buff for Chronozeros. It would revitalise him a little and shouldn’t matter too much about making him overpowered for newbies in front lines of PvP because to be honest they all have access to far more powerful limited legendaries from the get go.
Delu in fl is easy to kill, my nox fl disables it pretty easily
Don’t you guys get tired of constantly calling for nerfs ?
