I ask about the entrance of Tengoku, Isoldelle unleashed her revenge. 3 enemy monsters entered the field that were not stunned, why have they not been stunned? The last thing that is applied is supposed to be the entries, right? In fact, it looks like when the enemy’s monsters are inside the field, the stun is applied to Obsidya. Is this a bug?
@Killerdog @Dev_VKC
Everything is correct bad rng your tengoku come in before the enemies comes in .
Really bad in your case happend to me ,too
It’s a matter of turns, the moment I saw the video I knew who was going to be stun and who wasn’t. When Galv’s death is triggered, Carmilla, Obsy and Inkf were going to be stun, so far so good. As they die, it goes to the next movement or “turn tick” let’s call it that, at that moment, it’s another turn, leaving everything that comes behind, without stun. That’s how Neo’s logic works, I’m not saying it’s wrong or right haha
I don’t think the rng applies to this
The mechanics are not explained in-game, but it’s all par for the course.
Like Raghnius explained, most (if not all) entrances seem to resolve before revenges.
This was also the cause of Motordragon’s / Rhinoel’s / etc. entrances sometimes failing to activate: they’re coded to land on a random enemy, but if that enemy died in that same turn due to Payback/Death Revenge, the entrance would not take effect.
That’s because the token entrance activated before the revenge effect.
I gave an example that was resolved differently, tengoku entering, momo in the enemy reinforcement and a revenge that is activated by killing an enemy, in this case revenge was applied, the enemy momo entered and finally the entry oftengoku was activated and Momo took a turn, in this case it seems to be different since it only affects Obsidya, the order seems to be, revenge is activated, Tengoku enters, paralyzes Obsidya and then the enemy’s monsters enter without affecting the stun, all of this It generates a lot of confusion for me and I have not yet received an answer as to how this mechanism really works. Some say that others have explanations, but in other cases it happens differently. It would not hurt to explain how this works to know what is going to happen and in what order.
Very weird! Do you have a video on that? I remembered just now an old video (courtesy of @Coltraz) where the opposite behaviour was shown:
it’s possible they changed the way Stun Counter/Converter works, but don’t remember that ever happening to me
Yes, I had it uploaded but I deleted it once I reported it on the forum and they said that the entrance effect of a monster was the last thing that was done but in this case it was not like that since the other monsters would have been stunned
bizarre… then again, the way Stun Counter/Converter works has definitely been changed before (e.g. the Insulator Field interaction), so I wouldn’t be surprised if its activation priority was changed.
Yeah, they made deaths instant. So the old death revenge into lava entrance won’t work anymore.
Can you explain chronologically what happened in the Coltraz video? I try to understand the order in which things happen in the video and draw conclusions
This is how it has been before they made it like it should have always been (they only did that after Eirlys release because of her unique passive).
Old order (on the video):
- Nikki kills Trica (has a shield)
- Haneri’s entrance removes shield from Nikki
- Trica’s revenge triggers and hits Nikki
- Nikki dies
New order:
- Nikki kills Trica (has a shield)
- Trica’s revenge hits Nikki and removes the shield
- Haneri enters.
- …
First revenge and then entry and why in the video I uploaded it is the other way around and Tengoku doesn’t paralyze the incoming monsters?
Because Obsybdia was still on the field and didn’t die from Isoldelle revenge.
I think this happened in your clip (might be wrong):
- Isoldelle is killed and her revenge triggers instantly (it kills Galv, Carmilla and Inkfeather - they die instantly and are no longer on the field)
- Tenguko enters and stuns Obsybdia - the only monster in that moment on the enemy’s side
- Enemy’s reinforcements enter in the place of what died from Isoldelle’s revenge
The orders might be confusing especially when we have so many revenges and entrances that go off at the same time.
We agree that it happened like this but then it doesn’t make sense with the theory that revenge happens first and then the attacks happen, it should have been like this:
1-isoldelle kills for her revenge
2-Enemy monsters and Tengoku enter
3-the inputs are activated in this case the stunning of Tengoku
Well, there has to be some order of actions. They can’t enter and get stunned at the same time. They can either enter before stun happens or after.
So we are talking about rng right? and I don’t think that’s possible, there should be a fixed sequence
it…still works tho
Peng leo cannibalize payback Razor lava entrance still works
But it’s entirely different situation you are describing.
