I think there’s a lot of opportunity for Neo to do similar things where they occasionally give bonuses in eggs for buying X packs so it encourages people to open that many.

Wow checked in to read the memes, but this has been a great read. End of the day if you don’t like a game just quit, devs have a plan and game is getting old the power creeps are just normal part of it
Hope everyone is well, as for legal positions Japan and use etc have very different rules when it comes to gacha and compensation

The best thing i could imagine the devs doing to the game is splitting pvp into two modes.

Mode 1- All monsters are usable and you have more team cost to spam your mythics. ( Earn better rewards for Pvp) Basically only whales will play this mode, cash and little skill in team building will determine the leaderboard.

Mode 2- Mythics are banned and its the normal 206 team cost (You earn slightly worse rewards then mode 1) i expect this mode will have the majority of the players and will be more competitive as players will play on the same ground so skill in team building and decision making will determine the leaderboard.

Will this ever happen ofc not as expect no one will care about mode 1 and obtain mythics.

They should add a third mode where auto protect and S-S+ tier monsters are banned so players will play on the same ground so skill in team building and decision making will determine the leaderboard.

Thought I’d make one final point on the matter. People are essentially saying F2P should leave or expect to lose all the time but I think that’s BS. So far, all of the mythics have been balanced where they give a significant advantage to the owner: Suiken, Sakura, Y Ddraig Goch, but they don’t shut down half of your monsters like Bastia does. Refer to original post for examples. The balanced worked well in terms of providing an advantage.

Let’s say all the F2P and small spenders do actually leave. How bad would that be for the game?! Well

1. The player base drops significantly.

2. Whales are playing the same players over and over. Each other.

3. The same monsters come up over and over. Boring!!

4. With everyone left owning most of the mythics, they don’t even feel special anymore. Like if everyone in the world had super powers, no one would be super.

5. Less player base means less activity on the forums and chats, as well as word of mouth. A F2P player could bring 2 whales to the game.

6. The gap, between newcomers and the mythic owning veterans would be phenomenal. No one would stand a chance at getting close for years.

To say that F2P should move on, or should expect to lose is quite simply dumb. I don’t care who says it.

The game needs variety just like the world can’t just be full of doctors and CEOs. Until Bastia the Devs got the balance right imo. It didn’t feel pointless before because at least all of our monsters worked.

Sort the mythic out. Let the P2W have a big advantage, compensate for nerfs, keep the F2P and low spenders in the game, grow the player base, grow the game.

Poor little lemon, if you only knew Bastia is the start of the mythic clown fiesta you should expect more powerful mythics in the future that are on par or even stronger.

We admit that Bastia is a very powerful “monster”. The main reason is that her position is pure support, she alone is not that great. And that’s where we went too far. We will review her skills and all the feedbacks here to improve the gaming experience in the next update.

We will also be more careful when it comes to making support monsters.

I will be honest with you and many people are not going to like this comment, but until YOU devs will be careful people are gonna spend tons of money for a slightly better legend. Think about this time to time. Is nice to balance the game if the money income is balanced too.
I felt treated like a stupid right now. And is honestly not nice.
