I want to report a bug that disturb me 3 times
So the bug is like this:
When my enemy (Magmarinus) using link slayerbane all and in my group have a monster that have payback revenge who should let that magmarinus on hold ground . After that when my other monster who is floculasaurus (trex) who can damage enemies when he enters on the battle field. Why Magmarinus still on hold ground position instead of dead?!
It’s probably just the order in which the passives happen. It seems like flocc’s entrance passive has higher priority than payback revenge. Also is that squinty’s team?
In order of damage it should be payback revenge first which make magmarinus on Hold ground position and then when floculla entered the battlefield, magmarinus died but in fact still on hg that was the case. Maybe RISE squinty …i won against him…
I think the way the game works it out is the monsters die one at a time then the next monster enters. No new turns are given (e.g. your Chromera) until all dying/entering/passives have triggered but the order they happen is one at a time, maybe in the order:
first monster dies -> revenge? -> new monster enters -> entrance? -> next monster dies -> revenge? -> etc.
The order it chooses they die is dependent on something I think, but I haven’t worked out exactly what it is (I have a couple of theories I’ve never tested). In practice you can think of it as random because it is not a clear or easy pattern to keep track of while in a battle.
Not chromera my concetn is flocullasaurus trex when he enters fields he should take damage right, but why magmarinus still on HG poistion after he kill my payback revenge monster…
What I mean is another monster may have died before the payback revenge monster so the game counted Flocculasaurus as entering first, before the payback revenge happened. Hence, Magma got hit by that damage and then the payback which leaves it on 1HP.
I’m just theorising. I don’t really know.
Magma used skill link salyerbane all in this case he hit my payback revenge monster, in theory whoever kill monster payback he must be died which is magmarinus thats why he is on HG position . And then my flocullasurus enters the battlefield so magmarinus should be died
What happened is that flocculasaurus’s aggressive entrance triggered before payback revenge so magma took the hit and then went to HG because of payback revenge. Don’t ask why it is like that, the whole aggressive/explosive passive is just BS
I said what Exu did but also gave a theory as to why it might work like that (even when 4 are killed they die one by one so it may activate the next monster’s entrance before the next one dies). I hope you get what I’m saying now.
