Bond Quest feedback/discussion

Where do you find “Many Rewards?” Each monsters Bond Quest all the way through only yields 20 Regular Gems and 1 Rare gem plus some Fruits and Silver.

Lvl 100 is the icon. Going beyond that required the monster to be at 9+

LOL, I just recently made the somewhat questionable decision to hand Bane a legend potion to get him to +9… glad something big came out of that!

Anyway, this kinda feels in the same vein as the potion exchange system; the ticket cost is quite egregious, but hey, can we really complain that much? There’s an ENORMOUS amount of gems to be had here, should people be willing to work for it. This pretty much guarantees that you’ll never, ever be sitting around letting tickets go to waste because you’ve got nothing worthwhile to spend them on.

But I do kinda think they could’ve done so much more with it, you know? Like, I’ve got chronozeros at +9 so I’m likely to move on to him once I’m done with Bane, but I can already tell I’m just gonna stick him in the back of the team, letting the actual standard pve viable lineup do all the work for him. Why not add an incentive to really use the monster in question? It’s making such a big deal out of BONDING with said monster, after all. Give him a stat buff, like in mythic coliseum! Pit him against teams that he can thrive against, and gradually introduce his counters so that there’s an actual progression involved! Tweak the conditions so that there’s further incentive to have him play a big role! I really do love this idea of singling out a monster you really like for one reason or another, and having the entire experience center around said monster. Could make for a wonderful personalized experience, you know?

Also I’m definitely on board with KD’s suggestion to up the exp, devs didn’t exactly intend for us to need to grind on shadow ch. 4 or the delugazar battles just to get exp, so why not give us an extra solid, reliable source that we can just stick to once and for all?

I also like the idea of giving f2ps the opportunity to work toward mythic shards. The sweetspot would be something that won’t dissuade people from spending on said mythic when it appears in the egg, but is still attainable for determined f2ps that really wanna see their most beloved mythic attain their fullest potential. So maybe just 1-2 mythic shards? That way they still need to roll it at least twice if they want it awakened, which is still REALLY damn unlikely. You could make the mythic battles even harder to make up for it, so that the f2p will really need to get their teambuilding working if they hope to reach the top. I think it plays quite solidly into the idea of bonding with your one monster; you put in all this effort to increase the bond, and as a reward it becomes stronger with TU bonuses! In fact, maybe one of the rewards for the legend gauntlets could be a copy of the legend to add to its pile? Might be a little too generous, but it’s something to think about, ya know? Could be like, right up on the cusp of where it jumps from level 2 to level 3.

Didn’t even think of this idea but it would work just like it does for Mythic Colosseum.

Originally I thought that the team building requirement was to have monsters of the same type and nothing else. E.g. For the first bit you make a 4-monster team, the second is 6-monster and final is 8-monster. I think bond quest would benefit from having something like this… maybe like Mythic Colosseum it could be that you can only enter with a 10-monster team. Maybe this is too harsh but I like the unique team building aspect of events, it’s a big part of what makes this game good. The current restriction is too easily ignored.

Yes, seems bad right this minute but also a much better design overall that we work towards these icons rather than simply getting them for hatching.

The Devs very kindly warned us in advance so we could go claim any from the achievements first. We didn’t get anything taken away from us.

Sir, they’re right. If we can’t reduce the consumption of tickets or prizes. How about we increase their exp (20 tickets for 1500-2500 exp). I know I really love my aquamurai and swords dragon, but for mystic shard gifts .we also have to know the consequences, why? We are already overwhelmed against Aurodragon and Novadragon. Try to imagine if our opponent has awaken mythical monsters like Brynhildr, Gorgodrake or bastia, I think it’s very unfriendly for new players (pvp).

Or just make tickets regenerate faster. If they don’t want to make this permanent just make it 1/2 sometimes.

So, there’s an icon for every single one of the mons featured in bond quest huh? That seems like a heck of a lot more than there were before. Interested in seeing what some of em will be

Well I’m kinda confuse
We had both orbling and Kamiwyrm icon before but in the bond quest rewards is only one icon reward
@Dev_VKC are we going to get only 1 icon now ?
Also thanks for adding shiny monsters in the bond quest

There are few monsters with 2 icons reward.
Kamiwyrm is one of them.

The exp increases every 10 battles. It may seem tough in the beginning but overall this event gives out more exp than many other events.

We are not saying this is perfect. Considering we will keep adding missing/new monsters, and the fact that it is a permanent event, the event was not designed to obtain the rewards (exp, gems, etc) within a short time.

We will take those feedbacks and suggestions into account if we decide to tweak the event, or when we work on the future event.

We made one more icon for Maggatsuoh, and the others with 2 icons are all new monsters we added this time.

I didn’t know about it, it did increase slightly but couldn’t imagine this could actually be a reliably source of exp. Then I take everything back about the tickets!
