Not sure how many of you have noticed yetâbut weâve updated the Point Rewards in the Defense of Verosia event this time!
Weâve added 24 extra rewards and lowered the point requirement for the final gem reward from 190,000pt to 140,000pt.
Our goal is to make the event less grindy and to give players more ingredients to evolve their monsters. Weâd love to hear your feedbackâlet us know what you think!
What kind of ingredient rewards would you like to see in future events?
How would you feel if the event started with 16 monster slots unlocked from the beginning?
I think Verosia is better with less slots because then the battles donât take that long. But I also see the other point of view of building a super high cost high level defense team. Just a matter of preference.
I would feel terrible. Everyone is already trying to get the rewards before the 16 slots are opened. Because there are 2 defense teams, when the 16 slots are opened, the matches take a long time. Also, it would be good if we could watch the matches of those who lost to our defense
Definitely noticed 40 gems is nice for a relatively easy and fun event. Hope to see more of this ^^ (wait maybe it was always 40 gems idk, I assumed it was the gems because you guys said you would try to increase future pve gem rewards)
Hello developer, I have tried my attacking team in this event and found that adjusting the enhanced skill TU cannot be achieved after entering the battle. For example, I am a monster whose+9 skill tu is 212. After adjusting that+9 to+0 and entering the game, theoretically speaking, the skill tu should be 250, but the actual situation is still 212, which disrupts my team. This will not happen in other events, only in this event. If possible, I hope to adjust it to be the same as other events
When there are 10 players, it doesnât take too much time, but when there are 16 players, it takes too much time. I feel that having 10 players all the time would be better
Doing so will take a long time because defeating two teams will be very time consuming. If each team has 16 monsters, I think it would be better to keep 10 monsters.
I like the event a little more since it doesnât require a lot of grinding, but I just wish you get more tickets or unlimited amount of stamina instead of just 10. Also lower the defence wins to like 40 would be nice. The attack lower it to 100k
It still has the same problem. If you use all your tickets (since the event begin and not wasting any of them) and win all your battles, the system doesnât match your Defending Team with anothers because your points are too high for an average players at that moment.
I would say, just donât play in a way that you donât waste any tickets? I mean if you want to reach the 200 k reward, thereâs plenty of time to do that during the event. But I guess if you play the event when the full teams arenât yet in use, itâs easier to collect the rewards. Is that the reason why youâre spending the tickets straight away?
I play irregularly, usually auto battle 8 matches in a session. Probably 20 battles a day on average. This is my situation now.
However, I feel the eventâs biggest flaw is the switch from 10 â 16 monster teams and this still remains.
It causes two things:
The grinding time to get the rewards increases.
You suddenly have to build 4 teams.
Due to (1), I always grind to the final reward before the second half of this event because it saves me time.
(2) is very inconvenient because the change happens overnight (for most people). So you wake up and need to build 4 teams, use your event tickets and also your normal tickets. 4 teams takes a really long time to do and it interrupts your morning a lot.
I think a good solution would be this:
In the second half, you get 2x points for the enemy team cost.
You can create both the 10 and 16 monster teams at any time (each creation screen has 4 slots, two for each team size).
To explain the numbers of (1)âŚ
Stage 1 (currently) = 1275 points per full win (1000 + 250-300)
Stage 2 (currently) = 1440 points per full win (1000 + 400-480)
The increase from 1275 â 1440 is only 13%, for an increase of time of (presumably) 60%.
With double team cost points youâd get 1880, which is roughly 50% more points. Thatâs still less efficient in time, but close enough.
Other ideas for improving the event:
Every time you get a defence win, the next battle you do gives you 1.5x points.
Each time the event comes out there is a bonus for defence teams that encourages you to construct new teams (nothing crazy, just enough to shift the meta a little).
@Dev_VKC Does the defensive teamâs matchup with other players have anything to do with spending tickets? My defensive teamâs win increase was usually when spending tickets. Can you give me some information about this?
I noticed it works the same way than your shared monster, your shared monster only appears to other players when you play pvp/pve, i guess your defensive team works in the same way, if you donât play, nobody plays against it
Yes, thatâs a good analogy. Frankly, Iâm not new to this topic. I had this question in mind during the previous event. I thought about two options.
1_We need to spend tickets for our defensive team to match up with the others.
2_In this event, there is an attack and defense system where we placed our teams specifically. So maybe this event has its own online system. So even if you are online, it will count you offline before you enter the event. And you will have to stay in the menu for the defending team to match.
These were my guesses. If the answer comes, we will learn the truth
