Some choices are good and some are bad,
Here are my thoughts about them,
1- new mythics and legendary every month, as a player i find it very difficult to keep up spending to obtain the newer stuff, maybe its a cash grab for devs but i do find it frustrating
2- the price of gems are way to high $90 for 150 paid gems and 150 free its seems way overpriced. thats the cost of a entire video game on ps5, and of course its gambling you might get total rubbish
3- while balance changes are looked at in a good way in most games, but in neo its totally different story. You awaken something new use it for a week have it limited in the next month and nerfed in the following month, without giving any compensation for the lack of testing and all the hard earned gems and frustration and stress when rolling the packs
4- no new content for 8 years, 8 years and there is no new pvp event, where is the creative team, are they getting paid for sleeping if so sign me up
5- The restriction list is just a middle finger to all the players with smaller accounts, let players play whatever monster they have. A simple solution to this problem is have two pvp event running at the same time but the rewards are shared in both events
6- We barely get any balance changes regarding old monsters, and most are just nerfs to introduce a new monster like we saw with the se bird token lock
The good things:
1- devs did increase the number of gems we get in the game.
2- they are trying to close the gap between p2w and f2p, but the approach to it is extremely poor
3- we finally see some discount on mythics hopefully its not just anniversary thing but happens quite often
4- balance changes happen on a monthly basis, the only bad thing here is there is no compensation system for the players that were affected
