Why in the world was this of all mons nerfed, there are so much more powerful mons, cough cough gazer that could have been tweaked , yet they decide the nerf astrogolem???

He was easly the best motar monster with the right setup.

This nerf was done , most probably, to give value to Nartugol more than a legendary. Both are almost same mechanics but Astro was better choice with stun immunity and mortar shield …

astro was strong endgame of a throw based team which lets be real, is nowhere near as good as the current meta, even I acknowledge this, but now astro is still good but alot slower
the nerf is weird though as you need to build an entire team/endgame just for him whereas some other mons are way stronger and fit every team
Yeah they took away what made him a big threat, strange since it is a very rarely used monster and needs a dedicated setup.
that’s what I can’t understand, now if it didn’t need any setup I can agree with the nerf, but this thing needs alot of setting up before it can be effective
First of all, I completely agree that Astrogolem didn’t need a “nerf” to it because it’s not among the strongest monsters and it requires some quite heavy and awkward setup.
However, I very strongly agree with the nerf. 1TU moves which are reusable are really bad for design. They give so little time to react and especially with Astro’s or Dusic’s where it shields the user or heals the team. Unfortunately, 1TU reusable skills are way too abusable with the right setup… they shouldn’t exist in the game in my opinion.
30TU is still very fast and usable, it’s worth building around him in the same way. It’s just not going to be quite so unstoppable as it was in the past if it got going. I think it’s worth looking at the high speed of the monster and the stun immunity… there was really big potential there and once accelerated that’s possibly 33TU (32+1, elem accelerate) sweeping with a shield each time. I’m glad the Devs are trying to work against these things being in the game.
