Strategy is obviously a HUGE part of the game and you’ll need it in order to pass the harder content. However, you definitely need a certain amount of strong monsters before you can reliably pull off a good strategy. I’d be surprised if someone could do SCB extreme lvl 2 with under 5(?) legendaries, even if it’s just because you don’t have enough good super epics to make a team before that point. Advancing in the game takes time (to collect gems and build a collection of monsters), as well as strategy, no. of good legendaries and experience. I hope you’re able to gather together the things you need to make a good team soon
The others have already said that both the Crown and Grail missions are a chance-based thing (chance for the appearance, guaranteed when you see it). However, one thing I’d like to add is Dev VKC recently showed an interest in the idea of adding these ingredient farming missions to the “ultra evolve” section of the online with them only being possible once per month. This would make things much clearer for new players and hopefully avoid any de-motivation where they feel like they can’t progress their team.
Dayum! I know what you mean by luck. I was like on the last stretch with just one mon left to go. But the annoying horde of useless protectors prevented me from hitting the real mon giving him the chance to take out my last mons. That only happened once. Couldn’t get close to take again, even with so many tries and following the same strategy and moves.
Nice! Galliodragon is a VERY useful monster for PvE. My first legendary was Bovolcus (back when it was among the worst in the game) but then I hit some luck and got two shockers and Gallio in one time when I used 150 gems. After then I could do the SCBs of the time (although they were easier back then). It’s very impressive you did it with just 2 legendaries but I would never doubt Gallio, he’s still sat in my front line even now
